Mitch Moses Denied Release - Confirmed

I think we can all agree that it was likely that one of Moses or Brooks was inevitably not make it to 2017 with the Tigers. So cest la vie.
But the circumstances of Moses now requesting for release is not cool. He should play in reserves now for all I care.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, the main thing is we re-sign Tedesco. Pretty much everyone else is expendable.

But, if we don't re-sign Tedesco then all hell will break loose.

If we lose Tedesco this forum will melt down. We'll need Googles servers to cope with the sheer volume of anger and disappointment.

Let Moses go if parra swap us a forward

While I agree with the sentiment, that would mean JLJ and Rankin/Hunt as our halves next week.

Then again, I wonder if we could get Gutho and a forward as a swap. Very unlikely, I guess.

I personally would be happy to let him go if we got Nathan Brown and Takairangi back of them(strengthen 2 areas for 1 )

Stick him on the wing in reggies

Bugger that, put him at hooker and make the beggar take on some traffic.

That would be very unfair to Marshall-King who busts his butt every time he runs out for the ISP team..

Send him to Balmain A Grade…

Not wrong! On all fronts. I reckon JMK is a real goer. Real solid. Always rises to a level. I would take a flier on him.

At least the Tigers have drawn a line in the sand and won't be dictated to by a player manager. I'd also be refusing to let him leave. We are down on halves options and he has a contract with us. No point in releasing him right now, unless of course he absolutely dogs it out on the field.

The priority now needs to be Tedesco and Woods, a front rower to partner Woods and a solid edge backrower.

If he dogs on the field how will you tell the difference to what he is playing like now? Seriously though I wouldn't let him go but play him in the reggies to send a clear message to every other player.

I'd stick with the best humans and I'm guessing Mitch would rank 4th of the so called Big 4, so sayonara I'd say. That said I question them all for choice of manager and for falling under the spell of the footballer whisperer who seems to be desperately seeking validation, at least at Parra and Broncs previously
Hopefully we wrangle a forward out of the Eels as compensation and let him go
Surprising behaviour from Benny's nephew, I expected more :unamused:

Yep !

at the end of the day - you either get on the bus or you dont.
only baggage the bus should be carrying is the players bags
If he wants to go - let him go to reggies
sober him out for a quick minute while the rest of those who want to stay start building a new future !

If he wants to go, let him go, this gives us a chance to experiment with the halves. We are coming dead last, hanging on to him won't do us any favours.

I would be looking at Mitchell Cornish who had an absolute blinder last week

10 total runs, 173 total metres, two try-assists, three line-break-assists, one tackle-break, one offload, one try, one goal.

Sign him for the rest of this season with a year in our favour. It is his last chance and will be looking to make the most out of it. Brooks and Cornish played together for NSW u'20s.

Another option is Connor Watson from the Roosters but I am not sure they would be keen on releasing him.

Why would we put this year to waste and start re-building next year when we have a chance to do it now?

I would make a play foe TMM he's not on much cash at Panthers.

Havent read one comment of anyone wanting to keep him
He has really made us bitter and angry if this is true

They all have. Isn't it ironic that the one we all cared for the least is the one showing the most loyalty.

100%

Couldnt have said it any better
I feel guilty for being one of those trying to get a boot into Brooks too.
