Cmon Guys it's about developing his football..

It was crystal clear at the time of taking his option for this year despite offers from elsewhere ..to quote Issac Moses 'We'll leave him at the Tigers to develop his football'

Well he's come on in leaps and bounds , definatley worth 1 mill a season

Sure is, paid by the missed tackle.

I think it is only fair that Tedesco, Cronk, Foran, Thurston, Woods and Whare end up at the Roosters. Then they could field 2 Roosters teams in the NRL and Roosters A could play Roosters B in the GF. Make it happen!

Crazy how much your opinion can change so quickly on a player. I'd have been distraught at this news a month ago, now I see it as a relief. It all but guarantees we wrap up the other 3 and gives us some coin to find an established no 6\. Someone who will be able to mentor Brooks. The more I think about his move, the more I like it.

In the same article Hooper reports that Woods and Teddy are as good as gone.

You mean the same article where Hooper reports Brooks has signed 2 years $1.5M? Half a day after SMH broke the news that Brooks signed for $550K?

Same article he says Brooks is in a 10-day cooling off and is a chance of reneging because Tigers are "a basketcase"?

Same article where he says "forget speculation of the last 6 months, Tigers only formally tabled latest offers last Friday." Well of course they did DH, Cleary just became the coach. Doesn't mean there weren't already rounds of discussion before this.

Same article he says Dogs likely to sign Woods and Roosters are suddenly in the frame again for Tedesco.

How much can you believe this sensationalising?

And then there's another Fox article referencing the Foran to Dogs rumour. But SMH reported Dogs are actually under some salary cap pressure and need to shed players on contract, which is no guarantee and even then would need to pick up some bill… but they can afford Woods and Foran? Righto.

Oh, I forgot that James Hooper reported that Woods re-signed a month ago. Yeah, maybe he's not the most trustworthy source.

Cmon mate, a dollar a missed tackle is fair.

Right on Jirskyr.

Remember this could all be BS designed to plug the leaking holes at the tigers. There has been mention recently of trying to get the rats out of the ranks within Concord, and leaking bunches of incredulous stories will solve this.

WWOS reporting we've knocked back his request for a release.

**Wests Tigers withdraw offer to Mitchell Moses, deny request for immediate release**

The Wests Tigers have withdrawn an offer to five-eighth Mitchell Moses, reportedly valued at $3 million, and knocked back a requested for an immediate release to join Parramatta.

Channel Nine reporter Danny Weidler reports that Moses, hot off the back of reports of the Wests Tigers agreeing to terms halfback Luke Brooks, is keen to look to Parramatta as soon as this season rather than remaining with the joint venture.

Weidler says that the Tigers have placed other key re-signings Aaron Woods and James Tedesco above renewing Moses' contract, and that they may re-visit the offer.

Upon the Tigers withdrawing the offer, Weidler reports Moses requested a release to join the Parramatta Eels. The Eels are reportedly a strong contender for his signature in 2018\. The Wests Tigers rejected the five-eighth's request, and he will remain at the club.

The so-called 'Big Four', comprising halfback Luke Brooks, fullback James Tedesco, prop and captain Aaron Woods, and Moses are all off contract at the end of 2017\. Channel Nine's Peter Sterling said be believed it was unlikely the Tigers would be able to keep all four of their stars for the 2018 season.

“I don’t know whether they’re going to keep all four, I wouldn’t be surprised if one maybe two have to leave.”

With Brooks reportedly already agreeing to terms, it appears the Tigers are moving onto other positions before looking to secure another half.

Brooks and Moses, who've played together throughout junior age groups and through their senior careers thus far, were always a chance of being separated at the end of this season.

The news of both halves' contract arrangements follows the appointment of Ivan Cleary as new Tigers coach until 2020 earlier this week.

Lets move on, at least the player distraction due to contracts is starting to lessen…we now only have to wait on decisions from Teddy and Woodsy.

Oh yes! Absolutely! They don't have to play by the same rules as everyone else

Smart move by the Tigers. If they fail to sign Teddy they will look like fools.
That said 1m a season is a complete joke seriously you could sign Foran, Johnson, Cronk on less.

To me it shows something about the kid, okay he free to do what he likes at the end of the year when his contract expires, but to want to walk out on your team mates after five weeks of the season shows me what the kid is made of.

Gotta be looking at Widdop or Cronk now surely.

Tedesco is now a really important signing.

I think Widdop should be our number one priority (after signing Tedesco). I think he and Brooks would work well together.

Agreed, but everyone got to remember, Widdop had a terrible 2016, but has played a good 3 or 4 games this year. See how his form goes over the new few weeks.

This is true BT. Widdop is playing a whole lot better alongside what I would call an average halfback and highly beefed up forward pack. I reckon he'd be good for us if we could surround him with something similar.

At least the Tigers have drawn a line in the sand and won't be dictated to by a player manager. I'd also be refusing to let him leave. We are down on halves options and he has a contract with us. No point in releasing him right now, unless of course he absolutely dogs it out on the field.

The priority now needs to be Tedesco and Woods, a front rower to partner Woods and a solid edge backrower.

Naff off Moses you flog…..and take Uncle Benny with you.
Let Parra take him for this year, he isnt going to turn them into premiership fancies while they are playing like overrated ponces to start 2017\. Gives us much needed funds for this season. And we don't have an egotistical underperformer with a bad attitude dragging our team down further.
Onwards and upwards.... please WT sign a playmaker with a top notch kicking game! Please!!!
