Mitch Moses Denied Release - Confirmed

If there is truth that Mitch wanted Farah out, Farah twists his ankle as his way of saying thanks, should we now thank Farah for knowing something that we didn't?

Stick to the topic please.

What a peanut that guy is, he talks like he is just making stuff up as it comes to his head. It's one of those things when you read someone's writing and get one impression of them, then you hear them speak out loud, without the benefit of time and revision and an editor, and you think "wow this person is actually an idiot".

You should watch the circus that's 360.
You described rothfield and Kent to a T above… Make it up as they go along

We hedge our bets on this bloke and let a talent like Te Marie Martin leave and let Austin leave whilst on contract because we thought Moses would develop into an elite player and this is the loyalty he shows? But wait hindsight a beautiful thing right. :crazy
It be great if he could play for parra in a couple weeks at least we would get a minimum 3 try's down his side guaranteed

Sometimes you have to cut your losses and stop throwing good money after bad.

He's done nothing to justify that price tag.

I absolutely agree with this!! if a player doesn't want to be here or gets a better offer to play somewhere else I don't begrudge them at all. But my comment about loyalty was more about a respect thing. To ask for an immediate release because you get a revised contract that doesn't suit reeks to me of a spoilt brat but being the cynic that I am I put it down to this day an age of 'millenials' that lack respect and expect the red carpet at every opportunity

As long as we keep Teddy this is a non issue. Moses is a spoilt brat who plays for himself. We shouldn't have to pay a cent if we allow the release however, Parra can absorb his entire contract

We won't be paying anything. He want the release. We are probably entitled to compensation if we let him go, as it's him that is requesting it.Cleary has already said no to the releas.

Sounds like they pulled the deal when Cronk became a possibility. The timing is all too coincidental.

Friday 3 year 3 million dollar deal.
Monday Cronk is on the market.
Wednesday wait no wait deals off.

I would say Brooks has got in quick and Moses was left high and dry and his release request is because he knows it.

In relation to Cronk, could we really have a halves combo of Brooks and Cronk?

Neither strikes me as a 5/8…

What does everyone think?

I think that Cronk has played a fair bit of 5/8 in the earlier part of his career, and may have at Origin level as well, I may be wrong though.
There's not much difference now anyway, with them playing on both sides of the ruck.

Now Buzz is getting in on the action tweeting that Woods will stay as long as Pascoe goes as "he"s been treated appallingly by WT's management".

This really should not be happening during the NRL season.
How can players concentrate on footy when this is going on and how dare memberships be sold to fans on the premise of supporting the current sqaud.?
There is so much wrong with the management of this code

every year i think the nrl brand couldn't be any more amateur, and then someone involved in the nrl says, hold my beer.

Got to agree. This is why we have an off season. The NRL should be setting the deadlines this would assist in taking the power away from those rotten managers. You just want to enjoy footy at this time of the year.

I hope if Mitch doesn't perform he gets relegated to reggies.

Given how the spoilt brat has handled everything we need to ensure he doesn't try to force us trying to get his way via an early release through bad performances.

I dont beleive Buzz but if thats Woods anwser then bye bye dont let the door hit you on the way out.

Since Pascoe has joined we have gone from worst crowd and membership in the comp to highest crowds in sydneh and record sponsorship and memberships and all in only 1 year. Plys we have gone from one ofcthe worst coaches in the nrl to one of thw best.

Actually I think Moses spat his dummy when WT actually withdrew his contract offer. Makes his actions more understandable but I agree that he has shown little respect for the opportunities given to him by our club over TMM and Austen. In hindsight, it's easy to see our management made the wrong calls there.

Has he laid the slipper into Go again since Monday? He promised he would never take a shot at her again after landing Cleary on NRL 360.

After Moses didn't accept a very lucrative offer from us….

Interesting to note contract offers : Tedesco 4 Years
Woods 3 years
Brooks 2 years
Removes blackmail position Issac Moses has club in at the moment with all 4 players coming off contracts at the same time.
This was the boards fault and now we are paying the price for this major oversight!

To defend the board slighty, and I do mean slightly, when Teddy signed his last contract with us, he was with Sam Ayoub. He jumped ship during this contract period and I may be wrong but I also believe Woods joined the Moses stable during this contract period as well.

I thought he was already doing that.
