Mitch Moses Denied Release - Confirmed

Would that be a good or bad thing for us in retaining Woods and Tedesco? If we've used any of his money to top up Tedesco then tough.

Backflip to what

Offers off the table isn't it ….

Yep..

Could be backflipping on release request…

Gives the shadow jumpers something to talk about...

or he now wants to wait and see what the replacement offer - that the Tigers were always going to put on the table after taking the old one off - actually is.

Moley is one of the better rumour merchants. I hope he stays at a more reasonable contract level.

Let him go if he wants to walk.

However negotiate a date and a salary subsidy. I am sick of us just giving away players. Why the hell are we paying into Souths cap, why did we loose so many to Cronulla?

It seems to me that the best strategy is that of Easts and Cronulla, pick what the others reject and make a great team of good players. As opposed to making a good team of some great and some average players.

Ivan though worked this concept at Penrith with 1/2 of our current staff. The good bit is we won't have Phil Gould acting like a prick ruining any of our clubmen wanting to stay.

Hopefully that means Ivan will sign a good deal for Tedesco and Woods. Hopefully too we can wish Moses farewell and good luck with his new team! No "I hope the door slams your arse" but "I hope your future goes well". Likewise if Woods or Tedesco walk, hope we treat them the same.

Why the hate? Yes we developed some of these guys, but we don't own them. Lets end the bitter exits and start fostering a good club culture so that people will want to stay.

The forum took away my like button, so I will add to the wall of quotes agreeing with you.

Some of the vitriol from WT supporters towards say Moses probably stems from the fact that WT restructured their roster (releasing Te Maire and Austin) to accommodate Moses and make him a building block for the club whilst paying him overs. He in return spits the dummy about his proposed new contract and childishly wants to leave the club immediately and leave WT in the lurch.
Not the way to repay the WT for treating him pretty bloody well since he has been at our club IMO. If he had just said " no thanks to your offer", played out the year without fanfare and prima donna attitude then you would think fans would respond to those actions much better than a bloke cracking the sooks.

Just stumbled onto something I'd totally forgotten about

FTB will just love this , Isaac Moses was one of the three managers suspended from having dealings with players for 6 months after the Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal

How those managers were not suspended for life is beyond me. Typical soft as punishment from the NRL. Isaac Moses sounds like a quality bloke :unamused:
Will be a good day when none of our clubs' players are managed (manipulated) by this fungus.
