After the negativity around his performances for most of the year I think today and the last few weeks are a well deserved "credit where it's due". He has been improving immensely lately and has looked really sharp in attack and defence, hopefully the improvement continues.

Being given a bit more free reign by JT seems to have helped him.

being the cockier young whippet of the pair he was always likely to turn the confidence corner quicker and stay there due to his youthful arrogance… gee that sounds bad re-reading it but I mean it nicely, lol.

But yeah, he is looking good now, and will only get better.

Once he naturally adds 7 or 8 KGS in the next year or 2 he will be a gun. Like his attitude….all the good halfbacks have that bit of swagger.

Love the kid, and also can't wait until he physically develops a bit more. Love his general attitude and the way he goes about his game, he's got that fire that all good playmakers have.

Top player and natural leader. Will become one of the games very best next year. Will replace Farah as captain. Watch this kid

We have been watching him. That's why we have been saying he is going to be a champion. I think young Brooks is going to take a bit more time but he will be really good as well.

I think the point of the whole exercise is not so much the individuals, whilst all going to be brilliant - when they are all together - "when they get it together" - it will be a super spine that will tear others apart.

Cherrington - Brooks - Moses - Teddy.

Watch out for that.

Moses is by far the standout when you are looking at him and Brooks, and it all comes down to confidence. Moses believes in himself where Brooks is still very hesitant. Brooks will eventually be a very good player but I am not sure he will be a great player, Moses could be another Thurston

one of the few i wanna meet irl tbh- there's something special about the way he behaves on the field.

he's a great player.. can't believe most of these guys are only 20.

If you compare last nights game to the game against newcastle a few weeks ago you will see the gigantic step forward he has taken in both attack and defence. Moses and Teddy are guns.

Moses has improved big time but is still 2 yrs out and i don't believe he will scale to say teddys height but hope I'm wrong.

But he has been promised 600k 2017.
For atouch more we could have got Foram next year or for less Maloney and got instant results with less risk.

Not the way to run an NRL club. Can't just hope a pair of young halves will get you off the bottom after 3 yrs. The 2 of them have played 50 plus games and don't remember a MOM.
Its just too risky.

Where are your figures from? I am 100% sure he won't be on 600k in 2017\. If Tedesco isn't even on 500k and he was a proven first grader at the time he signed his contract a rookie wouldn't have been offered that much before debuting.

You're 100% wrong Milky Moses and Sirro both will receive 600k 2017 plus THEY have the option to stay…..I know its hard to believe .Ive never heard of such contracts given to Rookies...Why do u think they sacked Grant Meyer....He got them into this salary cap mess...Why u think they wont drop Moses back to NSW Cup....cause they're paying him a fortune......The West Board left to sort out this mess....

Dont we have enough Wests v Balmain crap going on on the forum already??????????

If Sirro Moses and Broooks can command 1.8m in 2017 one has to ask?

1) On current form would they make firsts for any of the top 10 teams? For me only Sirro on bench.

2) For a fraction of that money if they were hypothetically released and we bought say Hogdkinson and Maloney we would do better? I reckon yes.

3) And if they were released would anybody else pay them 600k? I reckon no.

Truth is weust stick with them now we have made a big investment on them.
But these questions must be asked.
Our play structure is breaking down in the halves atm.
When Farah is out they have virtual no control on the game.

Have you seen their contracts ? Its a serious question as well.

If you are seeking a very short term halves pairing without any guarantee of success, you may go for Hodgkinson and Maloney.

But if you are building the foundation for the future success of the WTs, taking a gamble on the development of Cherrington, Brooks, Moses and Tedesco seems to me to be a reasonable option.

lol let's get all worked up over some guy on a forum throwing random crap out there

The way the cap is going 600k, while being a lot of money, isn't going to be that crazy for young prospective talent. If we don't pay them that, someone else will. And it will be far from the worst contract in the league too. The cap goes up and clubs have to spend the money on someone…if you're off-contract in that period, the luck is yours.

A lot of old heads and regular folk are going to have difficulty understanding the money the average league player is about to be earning.
