Mitchell Moses released [Official]

He could take a dump on the field and the commentators would still talk him up

Not the 9 commentators tonight - both Gus and Sterlo gave him a serve saying he was poor. A major turn around from all the gushing praise last week!

So did I….. extremely disappointed in the effort by the Warriors. So much potential bit ....
Really a badly coached side.
Referees did not help.

I can't tell if he's meant to be a running 5/8 or a ball-playing 5/8 because while he only has 2 linebreaks in 12 games he also has only has 2 try assists…the answer probably is that he's a crap 5/8.

Moses is in a world of hurt and you know what- I really don't care. He is old news and am keen to watch Tui develolp as an option for us in the halves this year and at Fullback in 2018\. As Ivan indicates, Tui is now on the bus, we just need to give him time to find his seat. I think with some work he will be our Goal kicking solution also. Saw some positives with Ben M tonight. On a side that was not going forward he ran hard and work rate was good. Mitchell Who ??

Didn't get a chance to watch the game tonight, but went looking to see how Mosses went as I'm a little bitter and the first thing I came across was this (Eels forum) "Did the club make an error in going after Moses and paying big money? Yeah, he's only young but he's played far more games than Guth and doesn't come close. I understand we needed to look for a 6 (as much as I love the Guth I'm not convinced he's the half we need) but Moses? Was he a panic…?"
And…..."Well we know Moses can't tackle to save his life that well. was softer than a marshmallow."
Bullet Dodged!
Welcome aboard Tui!👍

Mitchell Moses coping it deluxe on Twitter about his defence. I wonder if Uncle Benny will come out and defend him this week

I'd love it if he did. Just imagine the reaction from the eels faithful. C'mon unka-BB do your stuff.

He's the 2017 version of Chris Sandow. He'll pull an amazing performance out of his backside, but for the most part he's mediocre. Didn't watch the game, but from what i have heard, he didn't contribute much to the victory. Sounds like it was all Gutho. And yet he'll be the one to make way for Norman. I'm sure that will endear Moses to their supporters even more than his shoddy defence.

In a year or 2, he will on that list of crap halfbacks parra have had since Sterlo when the next "saviour" walks in

Although he has been around for a while, he is still only 22\. It will probably be the first time he will be nurtured in a more disciplined regime under Cleary. I am really looking forward to watching him grow as a player especially since Cleary has experience with the NZ players.

Both Gus and Sterlo alluded to Moses having to make way, they really weren't complimentary at all. Gave me a little smile, hate the praise the little 3 have been getting when they haven't deserved it.

From this mornings SMH…...."Simon Mannering strolled through untouched as Moses went missing about as quickly as his Tigers contract extension under a revised salary cap and Ken Maumalo contorted around the corner post to level the scores in the same corner."

Love it .... :supporter: :roll

Good to see Gus and Sterlo aren't on Isaac's payroll. Sterlo will savage anyone who doesn't do his old jersey justice.

The kind of defence he displayed might be okay for a one or two game rookie promoted into the NRL. Big dollars means he will be under intense scrutiny whereas at the WTs his poor defence would go relatively unnoticed amongst of host of schoolboy errors.

Parra fans are going to have to get use to it, one week very good the next three bog average. Cant believe any club and that includes us would even consider paying him above 400g a year and that is being generous
