On the ressies list all the ones they want to keep are listed between $120-200k. Then there is Nikorima (the one they are happy to let go) listed at $350k.
The Roosters PR dept will soon release a statement saying unfortunately Nikorima has breached his contract and will be stood down. Freeing up $350K to sign …....

You would think that Pearce’s SOO place is now in jeopardy seeing his own club is now convinced he fails in big games.

Or I don't know… like loosing every SOO he has played in over the last 10? years!

SOO tends to ignore club level stuff. Sadly they ignore past results too.

If you remember, Pearce was the form half of the comp at the start of the year. I’m not a fan, but he was playing good footy and warranted selection. SOO really took his confidence away and he had a terrible end of year.

No I do remember. He was in Great club form. However he has been picked and picked and picked and picked again for SOO. He has not been able to win games at SOO level, so I have no idea why "great club form" should change things.

I know that A. Reynolds was injured and Hodkinson hasn't shown extra ordinary playing ability at the knights. But you can't keep making the same mistake again and again and expect a different result.
They clearly needed to blood a younger half into the system. A Reynolds should have been moved in once fit.

Reynolds is a good club player. Great kicking game but offers nothing else. Cleary will be the NSW no 7 next year.

I would love Thompson….. however, I'm not as concerned about our backrow as I was 6 months ago. The Hooth stepped up, Aloiai was enormous in our last 3 games and Elijah does the dirty defence. Add in McQueen and Lawry and I'm happy.

Agree with you aswell about selecting the same players and expecting a different result. Unfortunately NSW hasn’t been blessed with the depth in the halves like qld has.. Thurston, Cronk, hunt, dce, Morgan,Munster . If Cleary maintains his form he should be first picked.in saying that I’d take Pearce any day of the week for club.

Sharks still hunting for Pearce, which would suck for Townsend as I know he has played his heart for the spot.

Not according to the rorters - they reckon he is on 350k - and Taukeiaho is only on 150k - laughable - the NRL is a total joke. They apparently are moving Nik and Pearce to make way for Crichton. And apparently Cronulla budgeted for an 8.4 mil Cap ( LOL ) and now its 9.6 mil and they offloaded Bird and Gallen took a pay cut so they have close to 2 mill to spend. Then you have the Broncs signing Matt Lodge for 85k a season. I'm over this sport - its quite obvious there are 2 sets of rules - one for the NRL darlings and one for the rest.
