Moltzen to Manly

I always felt that Moltzen was very unfairly maligned on here.

He was a scape goat. I hope he does well at Manly…he may even start??

This forum has had a few scapegoats over the years.
Fitzy, Johnny Morris, Tim Moltzen.

I do hope that Tim Moltzen can reach his potential where ever he ends up.
He deserves too.

Well said mamma, everyone is courageous in their own right- whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally.

I'd say Moltzen is more relentless than courageous though. Anyway, coulda woulda shoulda- best of luck to him wherever he goes (he needs it!)

Absolutely Tig….

I agree Goose and WT. And I'll add some of the comments about him on this forum I find offensive. Very poor form indeed.

Watched the reserve grade today. Moltzen had a shocker. He has lost everything about his game.

There is no way he will be starting in any side other than reserve grade.

The reserve grade game was played last Saturday not today.

Ever heard of a tape or a replay?

Yeah…Merged it into this 5 page thread already on the subject...

Gotta love those who instantly create a new post on here or on Facebook without scrolling down a tiny bit to see if there's already a discussion on the matter, which there usually is.

Its correct Tim Moltzon has a plate in his head , it was noticeable when he nearly had head contact he would move his head away from contact which cost a few tries along the way , he was a good player and he really deserves an opportunity somewhere else , the poor guy has been through hell and back lets hope he can have some sort of career still at Manly , I have met him a few times and he is a really friendly decent person who I hope succeeds again , best of luck Tim

….Ive seen him play some very gutsy football....but him dogging it regulalrly and giving team mates a spray for cock ups when hes made plenty himself never sits well with most

Timid Timmy lost me with his prancing around the in-goal with hands on hips like a little teapot abusing team-mates. Moltzen finished that game with a cleaner jersey than even the WT supporters.

He's been woeful in nsw cup. A sea change might help him but he certainly looks like he has nothing to offer us, even at state cup level. He's still just a crocked fullback. Can't kick, average passing game, average defence, probably lost all his pace now, which was his one primary skill in the first place.
