More spin from Lee?

I for one are 100% behind Lee and sticking up for the club regardless of the end result.

A lot of people on here have been complaining that the club never sticks up for us fans etc.. but now there is a real reason to do so people are saying there is no point and to move on. 🤔

IMO the result should be changed but I know it won't as the NRL will do everything to cover this up.
It's wrong on 5 counts:
1- Time clock should not of been stopped at conversion to give them the 1 sec
2- Kicker offside
3- No break in play to even challenge the decision as per the NRL rulebook
4- It was not even a escort and NRL confirmed this..
5- When Daine caught the ball time was up and should of been FT

Even Gus said its the worst he has seen in all his years..

Anyway I follow to the end.

Hang on ! He’s put in a formal request and not heard back . And your judging him because annelsley said in public “they can come whenever they want “ yet in private doesn’t reply to the formal request ….. and you believe the former politician ? Wests tigers had a media release stating the made a formal request as well .
I think you got it backwards this time dude
Agree mate..
Also Lee would want all these details in writing and video for evidence etc.. I'm sure he knows what he is doing and are fully behind him.

I also heard we put in a formal request to have the contract rules reviewed after Aloiai kicked stones. I’ll give credit when I see outcomes dude.

You would think the audio the NRL have in their hot little hands is inconclusive other wise this would have blown up big time by now.

Or being cynical as I am maybe we have been offered hush money to walk away. Nothing would surprise when dealing with the NRL

Is it really tony, did you hear that recently mate after our game or is it wide knowledge?
The reason I ask is maybe the bunker isn't privi to it or are they abusing the system?

Think bunker can only intervene in certain situations. Not where ever it wants and definitely not where the game should of been over.

There is no way we are going to hear that audio if it incriminates Klein. They have dropped him from duties this week and they have already said he has made an error. It's old news now and the only people pushing to take it further are WTs fans....

I’m not saying give him credit . But your siding with a former politician talking shit on a soap box , rather than concrete facts .
What’s an ideal outcome ?
For me it would be to let the points go , but a complete backflip on the way our games are officiated , and a fair go . That’s a much better outcome , and the ulterior motive is be pushing for .
Because it’s clear as day there are 2 refereeing standards . Whoever is deemed to be a have and who ever isn’t . Which is bullshit . We need to be on the haves list .
The whole comp should .. but thanks Sutton family for this garbage .

As in stoppage yeh.
I meant can the bunker talk to the ref in general.
I've seen the ref stop play for something then put his hand to his ear then he blows time off. It is obvious that he was advised by the bunker to signal time off.
So what I'm saying is can he talk to the onfield ref and secondly can he advise him on offenses being committed.

If they are allowed to intervene, then they pick and choose what they tell the ref because a lot of things are let go throughout a game

I’m not taking sides. I’m just suggesting this (Lee’s outwardly strong stance) is more PR than about any actual outcome.

My hope is that Lee will put enough pressure on the NRL for them to avoid litigation by simply handing over the two points. Brydens is a major sponsor of the game giving Lee some additional leverage, and should it go to court, win, lose, or draw the NRL will come out of it looking incompetent. We need changes to rules that are present, but "not in black and white", rules that are implied, and rules at the bunker's discretion. It's not just the two points to keep us clear of the spoon or to legitimise the battle for top four and top eight teams who could be disadvantaged, but just as much for standing up for our rights, probably for the first time, and allowing James Tamou to walk away from his 300th game with a win.

Lee also mentioned he asked senior counsel to review as he thought he might be too close emotionally to the decision. Senior counsel said request the audio transcripts and was targeting had the game stopped. When asked about how long a court case would take to be heard he said 28 days in the supreme court if need be. He also said once transcript reviewed the meet with nrl and hopefully avoid litigation

See above mate never gonna happen with V’landys has backed Cowboys

Why the heck though can they not email them? Don't tell me they are on physical tapes....

Proposing to display evidentiary proof at the offender's place is not how it happens.
Because with our track record it would be 15 mins before they are leaked…

So we can view them just not get a copy

That would be the ideal outcome if only a moral victory.
