Ignore it mate, he’s one member on the footy club board after the review recommendations were implemented. Little / no impact on the football area. Richo treats the Board the way he should, need to know basis.
 
How many other NRL club boards or in our case the Board who oversees the majority owner of the WT football club would be known or discussed in the media ?

I know Parramatta and Canterbury were in the news over the past few years with their governance and infighting for power but they have members voting for those positions. We have no say in these clowns bringing the club into media ridicule by association. They state all whilst the CEO is overseas which again is already known why and from my perspective fair enough, when a family members wedding is overseas and you want to attend. I would not reschedule my wedding around the NRL season and as Richo said the Board and club knew about the request some time ago.

No drama with Richo being overseas and have no doubt he’d still be working the phones.

The issue with Pascoe / NT was that we were 0-6 off a wooden spoon and I doubt he would have been working. All water off a ducks back.

Richo is not forever. His health and age will catch up with him.

One dark evening, the light on the hill will flicker and snuff out. Hopefully he doesnt snuff it, but you get my drift.

I think this is Year 1 of Richo’s 4 yr deal .. you would imagine there is a fair chance that will be it for him ..

I think it’s interesting they brought the guy from the Central Coast Mariners in …perhaps they are grooming him for the role down the track ?

I’m confident that Richo is smart enough to keep Dennis the Menace quiet whilst he is here … I hope Dennis moves on first though because he has the makings of a loose cannon
 
I’m glad Romero got the flick as she is a grub , but Dennis as our chair is just as bad , he looks like a knob , and I don’t trust him at all , most of his pretend career is all crap

He lists himself as owner of a number of businesses... but try finding out anything those businesses actually do.

You can have any structure/s you want, buf i think youre lost if you dont have a mechanism for change that effectively devolves down to members.

The main point of the board is not just to make decisions but get the right people in.

Boards get stale, conflicts of interests arise and general incompetence emerges.

Years and years of it.
