Mbye was pretty pumped when he nailed the conversion to tie up the game and even more so when Brooks kicked the field goal..

Most emotion I've seen from him in our jersey..

Totally agree maybe he has got the forum complaint about showing passion

happy has definetly been in Mbyes DM's egging him on

What else is he going to say? I've had enough and want out? I think a fresh start would be good? I like it here but would be happy to play for any other club? No other club will pay me as much so i'm fine in Sydney for 2 more years?

His manager said he’s fine to move on if he’s forced to.

And until he does sign with another club everything he says has to say that he committed to what the club is building.

Likewise the club won't publicly put him to pasture With Madge saying in a press conference anyone that is happy to chip in 400k can have him.

Until an agreement is made both parties are publicly committed to one another, but both acknowledging 'its a funny world, and it's a business etc'

Spot on mate. Rugby league is a strange business

Also so really early on when we had them pinned in the left corner he was yelling out to boys to get up quickly.

Probably his best effort game this year imo.

Well he did last week. It was a welcome change wasn't it. I have no confidence at all when he is kicking. If he fixed that and took a nice pay cut he'd be a forum favorite.

I thought he went pretty good yesterday but unfortunately that will never be good enough while ever he carries the weight of his reported salary.

Completely agree ,Mbye played a good captains game yesterday, his goal kicking was good and his defense was good as always....I have said before that even though Moses has his share of knockers on the forum,Madge must have a reason he is always selected...

Sell High.

Grease the steps of the team bus and lose him at 80kph along the highway, deny all knowledge and reallocate his spot in the Top 30 to JAC.
One decent game in 2.5 years doesn’t cut the mustard.

I like Mbye , had a cracker against the dogs. Great to see him pump the boys up and show some emotion like a cAptain should be doing. I’d prefer to move Reynolds and packer on before mbye. I actually think he would be a great 5/8 and he tried to get alot more involved agaisnt the dogs. It’s not his fault he is on superstar dollars we have our lovely traitor Ivan to thank for that.

What??? He did nothing. Someone on this forum please show me one fend, offload, tackle break that justifies his position. Its an insult to Nofo when you dare say he is good. He rarely makes good decisions, rarely busts ant tackles, never fends people off, never does low percentage finishers. he is absolutely hopeless and I challenge you to post at least 5 moments where he did something even remotely good.

5 moments? How about his 4 conversions plus 1 try.

People can’t understand that just because he’s not worth the money he’s payed doesn’t mean he plays crap every single game. 3 tries and 6 try assists this year is not that bad.

Did you see Nofo leave his winger completely unmarked to score a try or his play the ball attempt when he just dropped it cold.

Mbye kicked his goals, scored a try & tried hard all game. The previous week he was fantastic at dummy half. He has had one bad game all season and that was with a winger there who shouldn't have been there.

Sure he is overpaid but as has just been stated that isn't his fault.

Also, and I'm not exactly sure how the sums work out, but is everyone taking into account that he was heavily subsidised the first 2 years from Bulldogs? So he might be on 800K or something now, but if Dogs paid 400K each of the first 2 seasons, it goes down to 600K per season average on our books.

Mmbye had a great game i thought, yes he is payed high but apet from the souths game when he had a rookie outside him he has had an ok year.
As far as Nofo agsin his attack was awesome against dogs, the try where he left thebwing was ordinary and the dropped ball at the play the ball was not good it probably comes down to a lack of concentration or something. if he can get the tired error down, it seems to happen most games then he is a pretty good winger.

Yeah dogs threw in for at least one year just wish they didn’t keep his price the same in future years. He’s taking up a lot of our cap for another two years ?

I've said it before, I don't bother myself with salary cap moneyball or fan guessing, it's pointless, we don't know. Either he's a good footballer or he isn't, that's the main question. And if you lose him, can you replace him with someone better, or as good and cheap (by whatever measure the club considers "cheap")?

Gosh the dogs must have been desperate to offload him? Do you think they would listen to a permanent swap deal? Mbye and Reynolds for Foran?
