Not sure how Beale prevents them from being interested in Mbye. Mbye to play hooker, and an emergency centre. Beale retired last year and is signed on a train and trial contract, would take a fair time to get match ready.

Weve paid 60% of his salary this season anyway,so may as well hang onto him for the remainder of the year unless someone takes him off our hands for a sizable chunk of his 2022 salary...and not just a token offer
Hes an average 1st grader and worth around $400k,but we dont have a lot of genuine options in the centres this year(and maybe next)so its in our interest to hang onto him unless financially motivated to do otherwise
