Once again the Mbye haters stay true....if you watched the game,nearly all the Manly tries came from our boys poor defense,and before you start saying that its Madge,he is the defensive coach,stop and look at the blokes who were the worst at defending.LL.KM,TT and even AD was poor at some of his defensive reads...
For as long as I played the game,watched the game and taught kids the game...never did it ever happen to BACK PEDAL in defense,our blokes never moved up at speed and commit to the tackles,in the first half the first try Manly scored KM ushered the Manly guy to our tryline..this team has a lot to learn about professional NRL...their game wont improve until THEY COMMIT THEMSELVES TO ALL ASPECTS OF THE GAME,Mbye is one guy out of 17,how you can only point him out as our failure is beyond belief,the sooner some on here understand that this squad is not NRL standard yet,then the less heartache you blokes will have...
enough is enough,I cant stick up for these wanna be players anymore....

The issues in our D start with our second rowers in LL and Garner….they can’t tackle and the backs know this so they slide….TT is hopeless in D too

I've been critical of mbye but I thought he really helped our halves when he got on. He played a central distributing role and led to us finding more space. Laurie and doueihi looked threatening regularly out wide and we started to play the modern style of playmakers attacking the edges. Whether it is mbye or Simpkin we need someone playing that role and they should probably come on a bit earlier at that 25-30 min zone.

The 14 is also a good spot for him here, IMO. We get rid of him, who fills his role?

Mbye is not fulfilling his value here. If someone is going to take him on at 50% of his value that's better than nothing. Front load the sum of his contract next year and have a clean slate.

Looking at our recruitment, I’d be surprised if he has a plan at all.

He has had 3 seasons to hire 2 defensive centres how’s that worked out…

Disappointing there has been no action on this one for a while.
If he is named again today it looks like he is stuck with us moving forward..
It sounds like Dragons are happy to take him but most likely want us to pay like 600k or something stupid. Kept him if that's the case
