Moses said he was “loving” playing under Taylor

Tedesco first. Woods second. Those 2 have proven themselves to be top notch. Moses third priority (the more he comes out and says stuff along the lines of "if I get forced out, so be it" I'm starting to get the inkling he will put money before loyalty if it comes to the crunch), he has proven nothing so far TBH - he is still firmly in the "potential" camp. If he goes it mightn't be a great loss. If Brooks doesn't show some leadership and consistency this season then they should happily tell him to hit the road if need be.
Would be happy to lock up Tedesco and Woods long-term and spend the close to $1.8 million that Moses and Brooks would be asking between them per season on proven performers for 2018 and beyond. Neither of them has an exceptional kicking game and you need at least 1 of your halves to control games with a superb array of kicks.

FTB agree with your comments, but who would we target as replacements to take their place?

Yea i think it is becoming more obvious $3 mil will not get all 4 - i reckon we are going to need at least 2.5 mil to keep Teddy and Moses so unless there is some serious TPA money to reduce our cap expenditure we will have to let at least 1 of the 4 go.

2.5 is the figure TT said the club had put aside for Moses and Tedesco, so for the 4 we could be looking at 4 mil.

We aren't going to keep all 4 players. That's a fact.

If they have any sense they would be preparing to sacrifice one of them if need be. Maybe this Lemuelu kid could be groomed to partner Moses in 2018.

Are we already setting the clock back for another two or three years, before a ball is kicked.
We've had more resets in the last10 yrs than than we can handle.
I bet this new kid has….....can't find the word.....Potential,
That's what we need

Why do we keep talking about 4 players. It's only 3\. Tedesc, Moses and Woods. Brooks would be a nice to have but not essential on past form.

True
Brooks is the expendable one and its obvious.

Totally agree with the above train of thought and very well penned.
Tedesco absolute priority, others not too crushed if they leave( even Woods who is replaceable)

Is that a regular old fact or one of those facts that seems popular is US politics at the moment…or have you made a new type ?

Havent really looked at what halves are going to be available in 2018 but we will have a decent chunk of money to go shopping with- more if Brooks and or Moses move on.

I hope we keep teddy and Moses. I would be OK if we had teddy and Brooks. I would be concerned if we lost all 3.

Sounds like Moses got cold feet with the roosters deal because the dogs came in with a huge counter offer. Our administration must asleep at the wheel seriously.

Unless he has already decided to leave, you would think that they will give us the last shot.

However, they have the same manager, so if he is a commissions hunter and not a Jerry McGuire then he will split them cause that will bring the biggest pay day for him.

I want Moses to stay, but would choose Brooks over him for anything less than seventy percent of that cost. Teddy is WT and should always be.

Seriously i would be devastated if we lost Teddy and Woods as they are proven players as for Moses and Brooks ? i'd just say See Ya !!! keep living up to your POTENTIAL hype as i don't want the Club paying massive overs again.
You guys can keep waiting inside that bubble of waiting for these guys to be the real deal i'm past that now and won't be held to Ransom .
Watch Ash Taylor and Nathan Cleary play even Townsend to a lesser extent .
Our halves are replaceable Teddy and Woods aren't
