Campbelltown is a wasted area that the Tigers have lost to other code's from bad Management , look at the Wanderer's they have great number's win lose or draw and wouldn't be surprised if many of them are very disillusioned Tiger's supporters that would rather have a Wanderer's membership as suppose to a Tiger's one

I've been quiet because I think the answer is having double headers on Saturday evening / night games and Sunday afternoons at ANZ

You obviously have not known me here long enough in this Forum , I excepted change from the 1st year we merged , if i didn't why would i purchase Season ticket's from 2000 on wards ? I could not give a rat's behind if we never played at Leichardt again i want success at my Club and if the Biggest money comes from just playing at ANZ so be it .
 
I agree Happy that is what should be put forward by Mayer to the NRL , the Bronco's get every Friday night game ? why can't we put in our request ?

Maybe you guys should then work out the percentage of LO and CSS is filled compared to the other stadium

Get rid of both grounds and move fulltime to ANZ for home games. As for training stick to the Inner West. Its a joint venture owned by a club in Ashfield and a club in Balmain/Five Dock - it is an Inner West Club
 
Here goes Baboon with its $2 worth. Wests relocated to Campbelltown in 1987 FYI. I agree equality is important in a JV but you Mr I will not attend CSS are the stereotype of what the JOINT venture does not need supporting them.Waiting waiting here comes Simon the Tiger to your rescue…..

So after speaking to some Wests people who are affiliated with the joint venture over the weekend, they were adamant that the club will be playing all games from Cambelltown in a couple of years and that "Balmain can go and get f*$@**d" (in their exact words)

I never bothered to read the rest of your post and went on the attack , i feel very :blush:
then when i got on the Thread it was up to page 6 ,or something like that and never bothered to read the pages before that and took this thread out of Context by bringing on this Campbelltown vs Leichardt Crowd Competition thing .
Only this morning i got on and bothered to read page by page every single Post and i feel extremely embarrassed of how i've come across , and totally agree with all the posts like how Truetiger said "we were talking about location then i jumped in with this Leichardt vs Cambo thing , i truly apologize and a lesson learn't .

Thursday i started my Leave break (holidays) and had a few drinks under my belt then i decided to get argumentative with GNR about this Cambo vs Leichardt thing which had nothing to do with the Conversatitions you guys were having beforehand , GNR i apologize for that and i am :blush: . i am usually in bed by 10pm so as you can see i was still posting after 12am on Thursday.

It might have come across as i have not grasped at this Joint Venture but believe me i have , i hate these Balmain vs Wests Mentality arguments and i believe for the Future of our Club to be successful we have to base all our games at ANZ Stadium full time , all i want is our Club to be successful so my kids have a Club to Support .

So once again I apologize to Philgood , GNR and all the rest that have taken offence at my Childish argument that i took up pages off . Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and admit your wrong .

I respect anyone who can put their hand up and apologise for being wrong or saying inappropriate stuff. Good on you FT.

It seems that lately there are far more posts on here that just degenerate into personal sledging. That's OK if it was only one or two posts but some people just go on and on. It's like watching children arguing but only just to get the last word in.

We exchanged some heated words but was dismayed with the hate they held towards anything and anyone from the Balmain side of the joint venture. I have followed Balmain and now Wests Tigers all my life. Its easy to say that we are 1 club now, but with the uncertainty surrounding Balmain's future, i fear with what will happen to this club.

Ryde eastwood club have been paying for the Balmain juniors,as stated in Balmains annual report :slight_smile:
