What you all seem to forget is that Dylan Edwards becomes a free agent for 2019 from Wednesday morning.
Edwards is the Panther's priority, along with upgrades to Tyrone May and a number of others whose contracts are up for renewal in 2019.
The Penrith scenario is that they need to find money, that's why 34 year old Maloney on similar money to Moylan ain't an option.
 
Moylan,Pearce, and Maloney merry go round will probably sort itself out over the next few days and I would say we are not even in the frame. We may pick up a player forced out to make room for one of the above, but that would be about it

Would be the best spine the tigers have had in years, if we swapped out LoLo for Tedesco it would of been eye watering talent.

I really hope that there is still a glimmer of hope for us signing him.

Panthers have done well to not make this an ongoing saga. If it were the tigers it would still be in the papers every week!

Maloney is no chance to Manly Gorman is the CEO and he has the whole Sharks club offside with the demands for cash.

Speaking with a player manager today no names mentioned believes Pearce will go to Manly, Green to Warriors, Moylan will be at the Sharks and Maloney will go to Penrith to mentor Cleary. Also BJ Leilua will be targeted by the Roosters if Pearce leaves.

No we need to follow their strategy of not paying big bucks for average players.
Their top players get top dollar, their average players get nothing until they become stars.
The Roosters cap Manager stated that if you pay an average player big bucks, they think that they are stars and therefor don't have to work hard to improve.
 
If true - then the Sharks like the Roosters are looking very strong. I thought Moylan would be our most likely if we were in the race for any of them, but unsurprisingly it looks like more wishful thinking.
 
I reckon Moylan to Sharks would all fall apart.

Interesting to ask however how Sharks won a comp last year, have Graham, Holmes, Fifita, Gallen, Lewis, Maloney and have added Aaron Gray, Ava, Dugan and now potentially Moylan for the loss of… just Jack Bird? Don't say Gerard Beale or Heighington.

How are all these clubs adding Origin players and losing just 1 or 2 prominent heads?

And honestly how could Val Holmes be happy if they sign Moylan? Either it means Maloney is on his way out, or it means Holmes sits on the wing for another season.
