I am not sold on Maguire. Has a similar pedigree to Potter, except he came home to a decent side.

I’d say we’re stuck with Cleary for 2 more years. If we pay him to sit on the hill or what ever he’s still going to cost us. Tell me would you want to come here and coach in this “ turbulent” place.

I can see it turning into a Jason Taylor situation if Ivan is retained for the remainder of his contract. Start the season with Ivan and if results are going south, punted. Prefer us to rip the band aid off now.

And around and around the coaching merry go round the Wests Tigers continue to go. The only time Wests tigers scored a premiership was with Sheens who at the time of the premiership win had coached Wests Tigers for four years.

Never thought I would say this but Benny Elias got one thing right. **The silence is disgraceful** the head coach has a responsibility to address the issues but he has gone to ground. What a disgrace, **lack of leadership, backbone and a complete phony lacking courage.** **I think you can see why Bennett has 7 premierships**. Cleary has done more damage than JT.

Almost every player who has played under Bennett loves the guy. Integrity is having your players back.

Dont you think a coach can improve?

He was sacked for that flaw. If he can accept the blame and look to improve himself i dont see why he cant become a career coach.

Macquarie sports radio saying Macguire is tigers first choice to replace Cleary. Reckon Bennett won’t go anywhere for 2019 as he reckons he can win a premiership with the team he has.

Well that will put the heat on Bennett to make a call quickly if he thinks we won't wait for him, and I agree we can't wait, Cleary gate has gone to far for Ivan to be our coach next year.

Dont forget Bennett was a big supporter of Russell Packer when they were at the Knights together also. He has a couple of established guys he can call on to get a run down of where the club is at.

Would have coached Mautalino at the Kiwis as well id imagine.

But you need to realse when enough is enough. That was a huge issue at Souths and also not very good game plans.
