Only this forum could throw up another thread for one home ground at a time when no Sydney teams are playing at home.

Hey, I’m surprised no one has thrown in one of these Qld suburban grounds that we have to play out of, when going through our list of home grounds.

That certainly fits the criteria for no identity’

I think it would be more of an NRL push.

1 second franchise in Bris.

I don't love the idea.
It'd definitely be a team that's main goal is success though.

I think it would be more of an NRL push.

If it was an NRL decision I would still watch the team on TV but would still be the last cent I spend on the NRL including pay TV.

I would say:

30 - 40K stadium at Concord, where our Centre of Excellence is,

Close enough to keep Wests Ashfield happy,

Not far from the heartlands of our foundation clubs.

Never going to happen but I think it would make at least some sense.

What about Minchinbury as a new homeground?
I say this for 3 reasons,
1: suitable land is far easier to find
2: travel time from Leichhardt to Minchinbury is 29 minutes, and it is the same 29 minutes from Campbelltown to Minchinbury.
3: Minchinbury is in the middle of 2 of Sydneys fastest growing suburbs who are Marsden park and Leppington.
And also Minchinbury will only be 20mins from the new western Sydney airport.

Few issues

ANZ contract hasn't expired

When it does expire we have to decide on a new stadium, LO or CS. Likely answer a new stadium so we still a few years away from that

I'm sure there are issues and it's not an easy decision.. and it's a decision that will divide fans too. But it needs to be made. 1 homeground needs to happen. Whenever contracts at ANZ/Bankwest etc expire, we need to be in negotiations with everyone now and make an announcement about where it will be. NOW.
