Logical but impossible

I would be happy with:
1/3 at Leichardt
1/3 at Campbelltown
1/3 at N Sydney

I’d love to go to games at North Sydney Oval. My favourite ground.

Unless you’re playing there. Brutal cricket pitch in the middle

Or spectating. Horrible ground for footy

Id be happy just playing Campbelltown and Leichardt oval and one or two games at lidcome but campbelltown needs a big time upgrade

Yeah, but it's still more modern than Leichhardt.

Ask yourself the following questions:
What is the most short sighted & dumbest option available?
What would not really please any of the fans, but not really alienate anyone either?

That will likely be the venue chosen

No matter which location is picked it will alienate some of our supporter base.

A TRUE supporter wouldn't mind where WT'S played as long as we called it home

after being a season ticket member for 20 odd years I consider myself a true supporter **but would be reconsidering continuing a membership if we choose a home ground I do not want to travel to every second week.**

I agree. It's why i'm against the SFS.

I will attend any ground in Sydney but the SFS and ANZ are last in my preferences of grounds suggested.

Dont blame you. I know your thoughts on ANZ, why are you against SFS?

I would prefer a homeground that caters for the wide spread of our fanbase. I don't think the SFS does that.

No it's in the East and we are from the WEST

I have been known to make that point lol.

What playing out of Perth

So that is the level you are resorting to?

Just as ridiculous as what you have been sprouting about the SFS.

That it is not ideally located to cater for our spread of fans?

The SFS is though

Disagree

Tipping your an old Magpies fan

Nope, Wests Tigers fan.

So you were never a Magpies fan before Wests Tigers?

@MAGPIES1963 can you believe that?

Don't know why you don't just answer the question, but suit yourself.

I have answered you question twice?

Sorry Grumpy...I didn't see it

Grumpy? You asked why I wouldn't answer you question, I replied that I had answered it twice. I don't really know what was grumpy about that answer lol.

Still grumpy ?

No ...not grumpy ....Rangaism .....born with anger issues .......

I have a theory ....we don't tell anyone where our home games are played ......ok ...fan numbers are low granted ....26 points with the bye ......works for me .....

I'm happy to split between Leichhardt and Campbelltown forever, but if we have to go a single stadium an expanded Concord Oval seems pretty logical to me.

Logical but impossible

Why is that? (Genuine question, I don't know Concord very well). Wikipedia says it has 20,000 capacity, could it be expanded to 30,000? It would be a place we could call ours.
Though I still really think we should split between the inner west and the southwest.

The COE is built at concord oval. (Using concord oval)

Ah, well there you go, didn't realise how close it was to the oval.

Basically the old stands have been knocked down, the COE is where the Western Stand used to be with terrace seating on the side for the ground. The COE opens up out onto the concord oval field and is our training ground.

Even if we decided on using the ground us our homeground before the COE was built, there just isn't the room. The Southern end is very close to Parramatta rd and parking would just have been a nightmare. what sounds like a good idea in theory just doesn't work in reality.

They will know for magic round as don't we always give up home advantage for that. Otherwise we could just say each round is at one of our other home grounds and it's still only a one in four or five chance that the opposition chooses the correct option.

Great for cricket - absolutely hopeless for RL.

I feel like it would be like the SCG, where you are miles away from the play. Still a great ground. Lots of history.

Parking and access in and out of the area would be worse than Leichhardt Oval..

The 20,000 is the old capacity set up for the Rugby World Cup eons ago. The new capacity is an order of magnitude less, around the 2k mark. You could possibly squeeze in 10K around the perimeter but that’s it, there just isn’t the room with the redevelopment.

Awesome! Hopefully WT get behind it early and own it as a WT home ground before bulldogs

Now that something has been announced for new swimming centre and a 30k outdoor arena I think this will be our new full time home
