New jerseys confirmed, Harry is back!

Yeah its a shame …...... I liked the old Sydney 12 team format the best with a final five at the end each year. Now we have Melb, Auckland etc ...... its altogether different now. The one thing that sets the now and back then apart is that finally we have a good team to follow which was my great hope when the Wests Tigers began. It took a little while to get going but now we are one of the premiership heavy weights ........ that makes it all worthwhile

If given the chance ….. would you go back to the old way Smeg ?
I couldn't go back ...... its good to reminisce and think about happy memories but I couldn't go back now.

I don't believe I would Knuckles.

How do you unembrace a football culture that is now your own?

I drove out to Peter Wynn's on xmas eve to get my niece a jersey. I couldn't see any wests tigers jerseys so i asked the manager if he had any. He informed me they had sold out completely, not one wests tigers jersey left.

He then told me that they were not expecting the NEW jerseys till mid to end of March 2011\. He said that China had put Australia at the bottom of their delievery dates.

I wonder if that's had something to do with the membership kits missing their delivery date as well.

Maybe we should start blaming China.

Corrupt price fixing - All clubs seem to have their jerseys priced the same.

I knw that if you buy direct from the club the get a massive slice as apposed to buying from a sports store, But in the end they're gouging their fans.

I will wait and buy the kids their new jerseys from Best and Less

Funny you should ask Cunno, i'm in the process of changing cupboards at the moment and i've got them all out. I now have 58 jerseys from all over the place.
I reckon the 2011 jumpers should be out some time this month or by mid February, but thats just a guess mate. I hope they're out soon

I think they were supposed to be out mid-Jan. If they're not out by the end of the month, start asking questions.

B&L imitation jerseys look just like they cost - cheap

Agree with you there, they look wrong without the sponsors. I wonder how the sponsors feel about the cheaper alternative being released without their company/product displayed on it after they pour hundreds of thousands of dollars into the clubs.

Amongst my collection I have a fully-official alternate (primarily black) Tigers 2003 Classic-branded jersey from Peter Wynn's - which I was able to purchase without the insidious Radisson-Maine sponsorship marking (as I did not want to support corporate frauds)!!

It still cost the same amount - as it was an official jersey (not just a licensed B&L knock-off) - but I believe it is now impossible to get official jerseys without the corporate branding included!

I think this is a problem when either corporates disgrace themselves (e.g. Firepower etc) - or when you may not want your kids wearing marketing for the likes of XXXX, VB, Star City or Sportsbet!!

Furthermore - the sponsors make their return from players wearing their branding in games on TV - not fans on the street!

In fact if they saw some of the genetically-challenged sub-human fans wearing them (Parra especially) - they would probably demand the removal of their branding!!!

I believe parents should have a choice given the nature of some of the sponsors clubs attract!

Souths have banned pokies from their Leaguesy for the supposed good of the community - but want the kids of their supporters advertising Star City on their jerseys in 2011!!!

I dont think that ethics come into consideration when the deniro is involved redemption. And unfortunately our great game was built around these sponsors in the forms of drinking and gambling  (not that i have a problem with either  )
