Outstanding today from Hayne.

What a story.

going into this the 49ers probably thought we will see what he has,and if good enough we can put him on practice squad and develop him some more and when injuries come later in the year we can activate him as a backup and special teams player.

well the 49ers can't put him on the practice squad.
he has played too well for that to happen.
no way he clears waivers and ends up on 49ers practice squad.
someone will take him.and to do that he must go on your 53 man roster, not the practice squad.

while reggie bush has said he wants to do punt returns,i'm pretty sure the coaches would prefer he doesn't and only last resort.he's on old legs and they just want him for 15 plays a game every week.
no need to ding him up on special teams.

49ers will keep him on 53 man roster.
he has definitely shown class with punt returns and kick off.
was good to see him used on the coverage unit as well .
did well to not engage the blockers and just run around them and make a half tackle that slowed momentum.
as for running back, done a great job on the edges.haven't seen anything between the tackles.that is when the coaches will really get excited.hasn't screwed up any blocking assignments and found the hole in the zone for passes.

can't believe i will be putting hayne in a 49er video.

I'm no expert but he ran well and was getting plenty of wraps from commentators hope he can keep it going.

This Hayne story is only going to snow ball.

Wait until he makes the 53 man squad.

Wait until he scores a touchdown in a regular season game.

If they havent already the NFL scouts are booking tickets to Australia. A lot of names have been thrown about, i dont agree with all of them but a couple id like to see offered an opportunity would be Tedesco and RTS. Both have better feet than Hayne and similar skill level. Either player with blockers would be a sight to see.

yep, he's behind Hyde and Bush for RB atm. Most likely Davis (rookie) too. is a possibility to displace kendall hunter, who would probably be traded.

but he's a certainty to make A 53 roster. if the 49ers decide to keep him on theirs, theyll probably have to trade out hunter for a late round pick because 5 RBs is too many.

if they decide not to someone like the patriots will snap him up faster than he could run the 40.

So happy for Jarryd. He is following his dreams and succeeding against guys who've played this sport their whole lives.

P.s. I love his palm. It's working a treat lol.

Haha, so true! They even look like they don't know how to deal with it! In fact, they look like they don't know how to defend a lot of things he is doing. Could it be that he ends up changing the way some things are done??

But that fend… he just pulls it out and gives them the don't argue without thinking, what a beautiful reflex act!

I follow the Dolphins, but have to admit i have taken a huge interest in Hayne and San Fran and hope he does real well.
There is no doubt that he will get signed up. You've got to hand it to him for chasing his dream.

Dolphins for me , low expectations as usual

Just hoping the Williams sisters line up in our offensive line

Our 1st team look the goods but in our 2 trials the 2nds have let us down bad. I'm actually excited for a good year.

We have been doing great thus far with no points against us in the 2 trials we have played vs the Carolina Panthers was brilliant.
Ryan Tannehill is poised for a big year and Damien Williams is looking the goods for his 2nd year.

Go the Dolphins.

So Serena and Venus are playing as linebackers then ??
