Long time Bills fan here since the late 80s…incidentally the same year I began supporting the Balmain Tigers…saw Bills lose 4 Superbowls in a row…and Balmain 2 GFs in a row…both teams went to custard…Before 2017, the Bills went on the longest playoff drought between 2000-2016…numerous head coach changes and quarterbacks…sound eerily familiar to the current Tigers? Now the Bills have new owners (The Pegula’s), an amazing GM in Brandon Beane and a kick arse head coaching staff in Head Coach Sean McDermott, Offensive coach Brian Daboll and Defensive coach Leslie Frazier.
The Bills are a very good football team this year and even though QB Josh Allen hasn’t hit the dizzying heights of last season (yet), the defense is back to their 2018 best and we appear to be better running the football too which gives them an added dimension to their attack and takes a little bit of pressure off Josh Allen.
Tomorrow’s game v Chiefs is huge. The game could determine who plays who at home come playoffs time. Josh Allen is 0-2 vs Kansas City and the Bills will be wanting to see if they’ve made any ground on the Chiefs since that heart breaking AFC Championship loss. Cannot wait!
Go Bills!! ??⬜️?
Great win today. Started watching NFL around 1990, was initially a Bills fan too and was shattered to watch them lose those string of Superbowls with the great team they had.
Switched over to Chicago Bears but still love to see the Bills have success. Would be awesome to see them win the Superbowl in the next few seasons.
Have you ever seen that ESPN documentary called The Four Falls Of Buffalo? It detailed the four Superbowl losses, probably the best sports doco I've seen, it was brilliant. If you haven't seen it it's definitely worth watching?
