NFL

It was never going to be pretty with Giants starting basically 4th string corners

Well you'd call it nose bleed territory But you know when it comes to nfl the helicopter style view is superb because as you know any given play in nfl there is so much going on.Anyhow I write this at 1.30 am New york time and I have just returned from the us open mens quarter final Novak djokovic vs del potro.Straight sets to Novak and hes looking good. That new freedom tower which is replacing the twin towers is a superb structure and tallest nyc building at 1776 feet.At night It lights up like a christmas tree in all its splendour with all its lights.Brilliant.

I loved the old world trade centre towers. They were in my neighborhood and let me tell you they were beautiful when the sun was setting them on- the towers were glittering and at night they were the centre of the world. RIP world trade centre towers NYC.

Some interesting scores this morning. Shocked to see the Skins topple the Saints. Who would've thought the only nfc east loser after week one would be the champs?? 49's looked pretty good in the time i saw them this morning, Packers defense is being questioned now. Tuning in for Sunday Night Football now. Interesting battle this one. I think the Broncs will get the Steerlers here.

good first up away win for the 49ers.

lsu, just waiting for bama in november.

I cant wait for the LSU v Bama game, probably be the best game of the regular season.

Watching my Steelers against the Broncos right now. Geez we're missing Mendenhall in offence and Harrison's intimidation in defence. In saying that, we're looking to score first at the moment.

Awesome win by the 9'ers today. They look to be the real deal this year and will be very difficult to beat. They really impressed me today.

Yes New york is probably the most architecturally diverse yet beautiful city in the world.Watching my Denver Broncos live now.Steelers are never easy.

Ugly win by the Eagles.

Vicks lack of time under centre in the pre-season showed.

in saying that the defensive packages the Browns threw up were pretty good and very diverse.

I tipped the Skins win, I didn't see the Cards getting up though, especially when Skelton went down

that win over the packers could become a tie breaker later in the season.but that is looking a bit far ahead.
considering the q/b's we have to face this year,it helped ease my nerves on this year.
i'm almost confident enough to say we are back as a relevant team in the nfl.
been a difficult 10 years after going 2 decades of consecutive play off games.

about to go check out the 2nd half of the steelers game.

Dont forget Randy Moss, he's your X-Factor. His pace will be invaluable to the 9'ers.

Steelers v Broncos game has been awesome at this stage. Clinical displays from Roethlisberger and Manning so far.

Even when we were down 19-22 with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter, I still felt comfortable thinking we were going to win until Ben threw that intercept. Seconds later I found myself in the fetal position.

I can understand that. I thought the Steelers looked better moving the ball for large periods of that game.. Some of big Ben's work was outstanding. He bought himself so much time. Then he lost it with one risky throw he'd rather have back now. It was great though to watch the two "old timers" go at it. Manning did great considering his lack of football minutes.

Manning was a beast! Although most of our offensive line were all banged up. We were scraping the bottom of the barrel when it came to the offensive line. If another went down injured we would have had to start using our defensive Tight Ends. We were severely missing Mendenhall, Redmen was easy pickings for the Broncos defensive line. Mendenhall would have created chaos for the Broncos. Missing Harrison in defense was also a huge loss for us. He would have had Manning second guessing himself. Awesome game though, really enjoyed the Manning v Roethlisburger dual. It was awesome to watch Big Ben at 100% fitness for a change. He was lethal.

I think the threat of moss is going to be greater than numbers he might put up. Other teams have to account for him, if they are smart they will always double team Davis and in turn it free's up Crabtree and gore is not running against 8 man boxes. If smith plays as well as he did last year. Hopefully we give it a shake. Agreed Bon 10 years of stinking it up was getting boring
