I'm a Fins fan and I predict we will absolutely crap again this year

Enough said

Ha. Glad someone is with me on Miami's sad journey. Last season we really knew how to blow a lead in the 4th Qtr.

I think if Schaub stays healthy the Texans will take the show this season

The NFL season starts very soon and along with my NBA I wanna know my NFL fan buddies out there in this forum, who's everyone supporting? Got a couple good questions for those interested, who's your prediction to win this season? Who do you think will be a surprise and do a lot better than expected? And who's your pick to be best player?

I'm a fan of 2 teams, I've been a Green Bay fan for years and I'm sticking with them not just as a fan but I feel they will get back to their form and win this season, I pick Aaron Rodgers to have a cracker season and I feel we can win this season, I'm also a SF 49s fan and their looking good, especially with their defense, if they pick the attack up then I can see them getting high up again.

My pick is Packers vs Patriots for then finals this season, I just can't see Patriots not owning the AFC again this season, I'm going with them to beat Steelers in the conference final and the Packers to beat Saints in NFL conference, but I think those 4 teams will be the top 4\. As for surprise team I'm tossing up between, Chicago, Dallas and Tennessee, I feel all 3 of them under achieved last season and they will pick it up like crazy and get to the finals, I'm also watching out for Detroit Lions, they are an amazing team who just can't quite figure it out but I can see them getting it together this season, it's gonna be close this season I reckon.

So who else is with me?

How much am I with you.Put it this way I am writing this reply to you in my New Jersey Hotel at 12.46 am local time just 2 mile from the Meadowlands where tomorrow nite me and my $280 ticket(and no I aint loaded)will watch the New york giants take on the Dallas Cowboys in the first game of the NFL regular season. Its safe to say Im lovin life at the moment.I take note your'e a 49ers fan well two sundays back I was in Denver for the Denver Broncos vs 49ers game which featured Peyton Manning for Denver. For me this was living the dream as I have been a denver broncos fan for 25 years since the old John Elway days.I always wanted to visit Mile high stadium or sports authority as its known these days and I've finally done that. The tailgate parties are unreal to😵ver here a lot of the smart money seems to be going on the Houston Texans and Green Bay playing in the Super Bowl. For me I think Tampa bay will surprise a lot of teams and Philadelphia will make the nfc championship game.If I had to pick a second teamto support it would have to be the Green Bay packers for a city of 100,000 people they are a massive success story.

Any college football fans? Because I live in Boise obviously I'ma Boise State fan, heart breaking loss for us against Michigan St. There's only 2 teams I think that can win the BCS Championship, that being either Alabama or LSU. Even though USC are the top ranked team in the BCS right now, Alabama and LSU have been there abouts for years but USC have really come out of nowhere. I have a feeling USC have a loss in them where as Alabama and LSU will just be clinical all year. The way Alabama destroyed Michigan last night should make every team nervous to play them.

Im right behind West Virginia this year having backed them at good odds to win the big 12 and also have backed Geno Smith at 10/1 to win the heisman.
Thinking Oregon will beat USC this year which will get Oregon to the BCS national champ game to play one of the SEC teams, not sure which one though especially as both Alabama and LSU have tough road trips to Arkansas at different stages of the season. Maybe even Georgia could surprise and represent.

As for the NFL its hard not to like the look of Houston. Matt Schaub is back and they play in the weakest division imaginable this season. Should be able to win through and get home field advantage in the AFC.
NFC is slightly trickier to predict but hard to look past the obvious options of Packers or 49ers.

No sot sure Oregan beating USC will get them the BCS game. Im thinking that Bama vs LSU would be more appealing to the BCS if they both go through the season undefeated. Bell from Michigan will have a huge say in the Heisman but it's early days to try and predict a winner in that.

All starts tomorrow morning!! So glad i start work late afternoon tomorrow so i can watch my Cowboys. Going to be very tough though. We're under done at WR - Austin hasn't played pre season, Bryant missed the final two games. No Jay Ratliff and Jason Witten is a huge doubt as well. It will be some kind of upset if we can pull it off tomorrow. Honestly, my head says - look forward to week 2.

Apart from Sanchez being under the pump at the Jets, so is Romo at the Cowboys. With Kyle Orton being the back up, Romo better deliver now for the Cowboys or he'll be out on his arse. Where I live everyone is a Cowboys fan so I'm desperate to see them go down. Sorry Pete!

Haha, i'm used to it. People either love us or hate us. On Romo, i still think his offensive line will hurt his chances. They've only shuffled some players around and the same weaknesses are still there. It hurt us last season, i expect it to do so once again. Just hope Jason Pierre Paul doesn't put a shot on Romo tonight. Can't have Romo busted after one week, no offense to Orton.

I've always thought Orton was seperated from Dave Grohl at birth, they look like twins. He's a horrible QB

Yeah mate, of course. We forced a fumble already. Going to need all the help we can get thanks to our offensive line. Shorter fields a must for Dallas.

This game has nearly put me to sleep. Romo is having issues and Manning isn't doing much better. No real highlights so far.

A lot changed since the last post. Though the boys were helped by the lack of a secondary for the Giants. Romo and Murray were pretty impressive in the back end of that game though. I expect both sides to improve a fair bit on what we saw in this game.
