Not another year of the Jet ?‍♂️?‍♂️

JTJ may surprise some of us...especially if he has a great preseason and there is more stability around him in 2022..

He hasn't surprised anyone in years. Why would he at 30?

Especially when he has shown little for years

Bull tits

Nofo is on the nose.

Strong reports he's causing the player divide and has issues with Madge.

Few players offside with him after he's berated them on field.

Watch this space.

This now makes complete sense. Cotric is a winger and a very good one. Signing him with Nofa and Ken is too much.

Signing cotric as a winner is a solid signing, cotric as a centre not so much
wish we could offer Nofo to parra and maybe try and get papali early. wishful thinking though

Nofo has a 4 year contract to fulfill.Moving him on is not an option as it would be far too expensive and a very poor decision cap wise

What if the club he goes to takes on the full contract?

Pigs will fly before that happens

Incorrect. Just depends how many sides are interested in him.

Sure clubs might try and get away with paying less but if we'll only release him to a club that pays the most then a club could guarantee they get him by chipping in that spare 50-100k. If they really want him it's worth paying that rather than waiting for him to decide and have your recruitment plans on hold while he juggles his suitors.

If only 1 club is interestsed then yes we'd likely have to chip in a bit.

If he has a good preseason and is fit he will give his best even if he is only here for 2022,we only need him at about 75% for half a game and he can be damaging,if we can wrack up some points by him, maybe the others can finish it off....just hoping I suppose mate, but I think he can be useful for us seeing we have a fair bit of youth...And dont forget we dont know how Oli Gildart will handle the pressure of NRL,at least JTJ would be a good back up...

Bull dog reckons he wants to stay in Sydney, that will be key.

But he does have family down there plus it really isn’t up to Cotric its up to the Bulldogs whichever team is going to help them the best will determine where Cotric goes

They can't force him to go anywhere.

Whichever club is willing to help Dogs the most that’s the club they’ll release him too its clear he’s expressed interest in both Tigers and Raiders but whichever club is gonna help the Dogs the most that’s the club they’ll release him too so ultimately the decision isn’t up to him

The decision was made 48hrs ago…just not made public yet…Cotric to Raiders 100%

Im not overly upset if this is the case.

Coptic is a handy player but the Money needs to be right to allow us to continue to build.

Yep. Cotric is definitely the type of player we need to stand our ground on, he's not exactly a centre, he's on big coin and won't win us a comp.

he is a good rep winger not a centre
no big loss if we miss out on him

That would be a last resort I think he doesn’t seem happy at the Bulldogs but I could be wrong if he did that he wouldn’t play footy for them unless injuries or suspension come into play but let’s just see what happens

That’s exactly what’s happening. If the Raiders chip in more than us,
he will be released to the raiders. His preference is us, however he is still happy to go back to the raiders

I hope so.
I like JTJ but he didn’t really look too speedy last season.
Not sure if if just lazy or had lost his speed but he pulled the pin early on a few chases when I thought he might have a chance of catching some guys.
Great redemption story if he can come good.

Im with you,but I also wonder if he was carrying a little niggle because of the injuries we had with the other blokes....I still reckon at his best he has something to offer while the younger guys develop...we will wait and see,I will put faith in the JET to come good in 2022...

Seemed to have a heavily strapped shoulder just about every time that I saw him and lacked opportunities, but was still left somewhat disappointed and that must change for him to get a run.

Quite like the idea of him being around the squad though as he puts in whenever his head is reasonably free and at a thousand a week it isn't a poor investment, whereas paying half a million or more for Cotric is for mine.

We will not be seperate. It’s not the sheens way. The raiders may well pay more.

Historically Sheens has only been willing to pay overs when we are paying players to play elsewhere

Whilst I'd like Cotric at our club, if we didn't get him it wouldn't be the end of the world. Sheens and Co seem to have a very solid plan moving forward and if we can get him for what we are willing to pay, then fine. Otherwise oh well.....

I understand what you're getting at. If Cotric wants out and is happy to go to either us or Canberra then yes it would be the dogs making the decision where he ends up if they are happy for what they can get out of it. It was just the way it was first worded as though he didn't have the option of saying no thanks i'll stay put.

Yeah we've got Kepaoa and the young man scolari who could turn good.

But depth would be good too.
