our D looks much improved, very NRL like. good linespeed, making the tackles and really following a 13 man type wrestle and 2-3 men in the tackle theme.

and playing very tight, only spreading it inside their 20.

not in it to win it, but in it to drill those skills well need in the year.

Welp, It took a sin-binning to Richards for Tackling Nagas off the ball, and two penalties against us in the last 30 seconds. But our boys hung on well to win 16-10.

after a rubbish couple of minutes we looked reasonable in defence for most of that. Played more like it was an NRL game than 9s which shows we're thinking far more about the season than about this hit & giggle comp.
We won;t chalenge this comp without a playmaker but it was promising for the real season.
