In defence of Teddy as you may have seen on the Origin pre game show, he was a Roosters fan as a kid and Freddy was his idol. His dad loves the Rooster too. He played for Camden Rams who's colours are those of the Roosters. As a teen he modeled his game on Minichello. He's always been a Rooster at heart. He just got his opportunity through the Tigers system.
So it obviously wasn't all about money or lifestyle. It was a life long dream to play for the Roosters and Mini got in his ear during the World Cup for Italy.
If my son was a gifted footballer, I'd encourage him to get a start with whatever club he could and hope that one day he'd end up at the Tigers. Teddy's Dad and Teddy have got what they always wanted.
It hurts me too to see him playing for them, but I dont think you guys should be so harsh on him, especially considering the state of our club at the time of his departure and what he has been able to achieve in his first season with a top club.
Sorry a bit off topic.
On Noffa, I love him and i think he's still got something to offer our club, but he is on too much coin and I can understand if Madge wants him moved on, considering he's basically a fringe 1st grader now. Remember Parra offered Noffa more and we had to up our offer to keep him in a time we desperately needed players to show faith in the club.

He left to go to a better run club at the time, better coach, better facilities, better lifestyle...and a club that is always challenging for the top.. you have 1 career. i would have done the same if i was him. he just did it in a crappy way.

@Zach - I completely disagree and that attitude to me is a disgrace. He would have been just as good here and if he was able to lead us to a comp win he would have gone down as a club great.

@Earl I don't like the way Tedesco left at all but it's hard to argue that he made the wrong call. Won a premiership in his first year and has become the best fullback in the game. Woods would be absolutely regretting his decision, Tedesco wouldn't have regretted it for a second.
