@TYGA looking at these players, I reckon we would be up for $500k a year just in Packer, Reynolds and Nofo. That’s a fair chunk of the cap when we are already down $300k or so next year. Got to hope some good cheap guys come through for the next few years ie. Bradley, maybe Talau etc

Nofo is right up there with Chris Lawrence when it comes to loyal clubmen, but you just can not have 400 plus tired up in a winger that doesn't fit the mould of the winger you need in 2019. I guess its also about trying to free up cap space and Nofo is probably in more demand than a few others who are on even bigger price tags
I thought he did well in his return. Ran sideways a little at times which always frustrates me to see when we're pinned in our end but overall he ran hard, made quite a bit post contact metres and defused all kicks if I recall correctly. The only downside was that he made a couple of errors.
What did the article say? Was Manly interested in Nofo or were we letting him explore his options? Because Packer and ET look like they are on the outer, I am not sure Madge would have brought Nofo in at the expense of Fonua if he wanted him gone or didn't rate him.
The only thing that I baulk at is his purported high price tag.

Nof is extremely overpaid and easily replaceable. I think Bradley has his spot next season, and possibly even in a few weeks time.
