He said it comes down to the offer and if parras is better than happy for him to go. We need to be astute with how we put our money out there.
 
As soon as one of our players gets approached to go elsewhere (and all the good ones will at some stage) half of you blokes turn them into Jack the Ripper.
At the same time there are a million threads about players we should approach.
It's obvious Parra would target a strong, off contract, winger with Radradra leaving.
Nofoaluma states the bleeding obvious in his interview and gets blasted ….. :unamused:

Completely agree. I wouldn't be upset if he moved on. Same with Woods. But Teddy…that one would hurt.
 
Didn't cleary try to sign him for Penrith a few years ago? Surely cleary has told him that he's in his future plans etc

Sounds like he signed with Isaac Moses straight after that interview were he said he was close to re-signing
 
Yeah much prefer the up front and honest approach than the it's not about the money dribble…it's refreshing...

Nofoaluma also said his preference is to stay which seems lost in the headline..

It's also not as if we aren't in the market ourselves for players from other Clubs to join our Club..those grubs..
 
Pretty important signing for us.
Will only get better with a good inside man such as Suli or Milne…

in every other article where Nofoaluma has given quotes about where he wants to play in the future he has constantly said he wants to be a one man club for his career and he loves the tigers.. the questions asked of him here are about parra so ofcourse he didn't state his intentions but I'll bet he resigns with tigers

I think so too. As someone said eariler, Sam probably saw the article yesterday where he said he was close to a deal and had a fit. Probably told him to get himself quoted as still being undecided. Noffa is a Tigers. I know the euphoria from last week makes it difficult to gauge, but he was the only player to tweet, echoing Cleary's mantra. He's not going anywhere.
 
I'm not fussed with Nofo's comments. He's confirmed he's testing the market. All players do that, he's just one of the rare ones who actually admits to it. He wants to make sure if he stays he's getting what is market rate (i.e, not being hideously undervalued simply for wanting to remain loyal.) That's fair, they're only in the game for ten, fifteen years tops.

Better than: Ummm arrrr, it's not about money, no I haven't spoken to my manager although I've had contracts tabled for 6 months. But I'm sick of the speculation around my future.
 
He's staying.
Eels have French, Takarangi, M & GJennings, Gutherson, Auva, Josh Hoffman, John Foloau, Furaimo in the outside backs. When Moses joins they will have wing options of probably Hoffman and Gutherson assuming French is fullback. They will probably spend money on Peats.

Yeah I think that's probably right. They'll make an offer but they won't be able to chase him too hard considering the wing options they already have (with Gutherson moving into the outside backs in 2018).

West Tigers star David Nofoaluma is set to pass on an offer to join the Parramatta Eels and stay at the club.

The Eels had held talks with the the in-form winger, and it was reported he was seriously considering following Mitchell Moses to the club next year.

The Eels have earmarked him as a possible replacement for Semi Radradra.

But recent reports have suggested he is likely to stay at the Tigers.
