For Utai maybe? Utai looked wrecked after that hit he got contesting the high ball.

I hope so! So over Utai and his knock ons/not contesting kicks!

He'd be in for Utai who left the field limping and failed to finish to the game. I'm surprised he was named to be honest. Would have liked to see Mr T get a run, but Nofo is a tackle breaking machine at NYC level so good luck to him/

HAPPY DAYS

I'm stoked for Nofo getting his opportunity tomorrow night. You do get the feeling it's his spot to lose to because Utai wasn't exactly a sure bet on the wing anyways. I certainly feel he's a long term option for us on the wing so i'm looking forward to seeing how he handles it.

We'll now have some real speed out wide. Tedesco at the back, with Nofoaluma and Koroibete on the wings, plus Simona in the centres. All quick. The only real slow player in the backline is Reddy.

The concern is obviously defense and under the high ball.

Official, Nofo in for Utai who failed an injury test today!

Good luck to him.

The other advantage is we have a size advantage that we can target with Merritt , especially with his suspect defence

WOW we finally have genuine speed on our flanks ,pity we have noone inside who can possibly take advantage :brick:

A ray of hope at last. Our young local talent is now beginning to come to the fore. If the WT backline receive good service from the inside men Sironen and Fulton, and Tedesco concentrates on backing up who knows what we can produce in attack. The important wild card is our defence and I am sure that Potter would have been drilling his team on this aspect all this week.

Big T is braining it in state cup and is just a massive human being - he could literally eat Utai and still have room for dessert. Nofo has been biding his time and thoroughly deserves his shot though.

wow pretty good back line to take the field tomorrow

1\. Tedesco
2\. Koroibete
3\. Simona
4\. Reddy
5\. Nofoaluama

Should be good. We should be able to keep it the same next year with only one change and that is Richards for Reddy. Will be a top backline.

12 months late, but better late than never. this kid more than deserves a chance in f/g. hopefully has a solid game that makes it difficult to leave him out. at last a backline with some semblance of speed and size slay'em nofa

Well done its starting to shape as a strong back line finally we have speed our wide that should be our long term wingers and fullback they are our future.

Wow. Look back to a few years ago when these boys were both in Harold Matts carving up the place I remember people on here raving on about them. At that time Nofoaluma and Tedesco were neck and neck for the fullback role but Nofoaluma showed plenty at centre and Teddy was just a little too good at fullback. Never would have thought they'd both rally through the grades and end up cracking it. Rarely does that happen. Congratulations to the lad and I hope he slays it. He's certainly a rare talent.
