i'm always the idiot that yells out my car window @ mark soden "Hi SODEN!!" he usually waves. I see the work horse (part time artist) at north sydney coles LOL

Caruana was at my work last year doing it very very tough. Guy has a lot of stuff going on. It's a pity because he could play.

You may have seen my uncle then. Peter Diversi. Im not old enough to have seen him play, but we used to go to games there when he was coaching Norths reserves. Beautiful ground to the eye. Not so much for the skin and bones I believe.

I used to work with Bernie Cuneo about 12 years after he retired. I never got to see him play but coincidentally looked up his career yesterday before seeing this thread. Apparently was a bit of a gun forward and he was a great bloke.

His legs were buggered when I knew him and he hobbled like an old fella. I went out with his daughter for a bit.

Looks like he passed away in 2015.

Can't quite remember Rusty - remember him and seen him play foe Norths, yes.

I think he also played in the Public Service Competition in the Domain for the Water Board during the week and I may have played with him there a few times. Could be wrong though. I remember Pop Clay played for us, Johnny Raper for the Police Force and I remember tackling Peter Diamond after he made a break and thought every bone in my body was broken. Those were the days.
