I was at that Warriors game. My wife said she has never seen me that sad. I didn't let go of it for well over a week.

That warriors semi in 2011 was the last time I’ve seen a live WT game.

Can't say I blame you, 2 years in a row we fluffed massive games

Give it time Gz.
We're on the rise.

I went to the 2010 final against the dragons and I was sick as a dog and had to watch us fall behind to a Jamie Soward field goal to then having Keith Galloway make a break to give it to beau Ryan grubbering it to only Daniel fitzhenry chasing the ball... awful scenes

If I remember correctly it was only 2nd tackle wasn’t it?

About 30 meters out 40 seconds left...plenty of time to score a try against a retreating defense / set up for a field goal

As disappointed as I was after that game it’s not the reason it was my last. I was living in the Middle East at the time and I flew in for the game. I live in Europe now.

Tim Sheens cops it in this forum for some reason but to me he’s one of the greats.

Bring him back as coaching director?!

Keep hanging in there mate ... and hope COVID hasn't been too harsh on you in Europe. Come back here for a game in 5 years or so, Madge will have us pushing for a GF by then for sure ?

Well hopefully you come back in good health to more finals games mate. Can we blame your departure for 2012 onwards?!

Should never have lost that roosters semi

That Dwyer hit on JWH and scrum will forever be burnt in my memory

The worst thing about 2010/11 is we lost 3 games we could have or should have won. Rhino staring at the ball instead of diving on it, whoever stared at the ball the Warriors juggled when all he had to do was touch it, that break against the Dragons on the siren when a try was on. We effectively lost 3 games by a total of 3 points if you ignore extra time.

I was at that game as well ..
At full time some warriors prick from the top tier threw a bottle of black ink ruining my 05 jersey ?

Holy, I’d be chasing him down

I'm calling a gag? reference to Ink in this thread maybe? Who throws ink?!

Who takes ink to a footy match?

My daddy used to long ago

I thought about that warriors game every day for longer than I would admit. I still think about it every now and then. I’ve never gone back and watched that game.

It sure was and then Darius boyd just threw the ball dead and it was the worst day of my life

That Roosters game I remember watching as a 12 ish year old and boy it cut deep. Forever goes down as a ‘Classic Match’ but for us Wests Tigers fans it’s torturous. I can’t stomach it whenever it’s on replay or someone brings it up. Horrific memories. Thought the Dwyer hit and scrum was case closed but wasn’t to be

We came 4th on 34 points. All momentum.

We beat the Drag queens in the first final

We lost the semi final 22-20 to the Warriors. We had won the game and Inu scored in the dying minutes. I have never cried over a footy game and hopefully never will again.

Manly and NZ play the grand final, Manly take the title that should of been ours.

Sorry I was going back looking for games where we beat Brisbane. We didn't that year, they finished 3rd

Most hollow feeling walking out of SFS after that Warriors loss. Still hollow 10 birthdays later.

I think we started 2012 as premiership favourites.

Was a teenager at that time, didn't know what heartbreak was until the Krisnan Inu try, still gives me the chills when I used to see him kick goals at Bulldogs and give that smile.. that dreaded smile.

Sucks that they didn't have the rule where 4 gets a break the second week if they win

I have no clue as to how you blokes remember all these games. I can't remember round 10 this year all that well.

It's not always by choice.
