Yep, me also...and I reckon I'd have to be at the Very Top of the List for the Most Despised Person, particularly as a poster started a thread asking that I should be Banned from here For Life 🤔🙄😱😀😆🤣.
Gee, the 1st time in my life I've ever won anything.

Although.... I was pretty excited when I came 7th in a distance race at Pratten Park in an Ashfield Boys High School athletic carnival.

But there were only 8 that finished the race, so I didn't come last, yeehaa!!!
And the finish line teacher was decent enough to compliment me and the other kid for having a great battle over the last 100 yards to not come last.

Hey Hank, appreciate you raising this, it's a term that's definitely evolved.
"Woke" originally came from African American communities as a call to stay alert to racial injustice.
Over time it's broadened to mean being aware of social inequalities, whether that's race, gender, class, or other systemic issues.

But like many cultural terms, it's been stretched and politicised.
Some now use it positively, as a shorthand for moral awareness.
Others use it critically, to describe what they see as overreach or performative activism.

I reckon that in this forum, we can treat 'woke' as a lens not a label.
It's asking are we paying attention to who's being left out, misrepresented or unheard.
That doesn't mean we all agree on solutions, but it does mean we're willing to look deeper than slogans.

If we can keep the conversation focused on ideas rather than caricatures, we'll get a lot further.

I know zilch about BG except that he is a very rich dude.
So, I'm not saying he isn't "likely evil", but what has he done to earn that title?
