As has been said on other threads this is the issue with the playing group

They seem to not be buying into to the coaches philosophies.

Something isn't right at our club.

Yes true. My question is. Was Benji part of that? Or did he feel in his heart of hearts that the direction Madge is trying to take the team he just knows the personalities of the players and that it’s not likely to ever be a good fit?

I’d say the latter.
I was informed ages ago that the eggshells comment wasn’t Benji .

Yes, it was on live again just then. I muddled up a few of the statements but the two interesting points were Graham saying we don’t look like a Michael Maguire side and look like we haven’t responded. Asked if it’s a problem with the group or what Benji said well it’s a completely different side. And elaborated by saying the group doesn’t respond at all to the tough love approach that Madge is regularly known for. And finishes it off by saying the comment about “the pressure is always heaped on Luke Brooks and if they go well it’s Luke Brooks if they go bad it’s Luke Brooks.”
I guess that was going to happen when you go from a big four to a big one.
Has the club done enough to make the Tigers not all about Luke Brooks? I wonder how Benji would have gone ‘mentally and physically, in performance’ had the Tigers just been Benji and no Farah etc for his career. Or Tedesco if we kept him and no Brooks and Moses. Teams are good when it is more than just the sum of their individual parts.

What was said ?

Benji didn’t want to talk about WT, basically said since October hasn’t thought about them , his club is Souths and that’s what he thinks about

But did comment when they said what now for McGuire should he go hard or soft on the team .. benji said going hard didn’t work last year

He also said it’s a different group to what Maguire had at Souths and he doesn’t know how they fix it. Long story short, no faith in the roster.

Yah don't see how what they're saying is wrong. Club deserve this, mediocre for over a decade, should be talked about more.

I normally want to protect my club and hate journos laying the boot in, but atm what can i expect. As if we deserve anyone kissing our tail pipes with the rubbish we continue to dish out.

Only on Facebook mate. But In a plus for him at least he won’t be concerned about getting death threats from irate punters by affecting their multi’s. So it’s only the couch coaches he needs to worry about.
