NRL ALL STARS - Which Tiger Will U Choose?

What is it, a 7 or 8 man bench? Gaz will be lucky if he gets 25 minutes if everybody is given an even spell.

A short spell for Ellis is fine by me… The last thing is having a star injured in an exibition game.

I'm already worried about Benji...

This game worries me.

One side will be playing with intensity and the other won't.

Im sure if Daine Laurie knocks a head off it will be a Tiger :imp:

vote for nthe best guys. players play better if they get the rewards. If Ellis wants to be in the team, and we dont pick him so he wont get inured it might lead to a slump in form on his part….or maybe he will be so disappointed he will go out, drink, and fall off a cliff.

Just pick the best players....who for me are Ellis/Farah and Moltzen/Lawrence.

HE HAS only been in the NRL for one season, but English hardman Gareth Ellis has left his mark.

After claiming the Wests Tigers player of the year award, the second-rower is firming as a selection smokey for the NRL All Stars side.

Ellis, with more than 6000 votes, is polling ahead of Tigers teammate Robbie Farah - and just behind young centre Chris Lawrence - to claim the club's position for the clash with the Indigenous All Stars at Gold Coast's Skilled Park on February 13.

The team, which already includes Kiwi captain Benji Marshall as an automatic selection, will be chosen from a shortlist of 64 players.

The vote begins on January 4 and ends on January 29.

Although I would rather see Larence make the squad then Ellis, I just cant see him polling more votes then Michael Jennings or Israel Folou as they have no other real superstars at their clubs. I think it'll definately be Ellis from the tigers.

Would love to see 'Man Child' Lawrence make the side. Imagine having Lawrence and Folau as a centre/wing combo. Even Lawrence and Morris would be pretty damn deadly. I'll be voting for him. Heck, it'll give me the chance for a Wests player whilst enjoying the spectacle at Robina. Should be a great game. I had to laugh at the prospect that the glamour boy of the game might miss out due to Fui Fui most likely to be selected from Parramatta, which would almost guarantee Billy Slater a start at Fullback.

Am i the only one who finds this game a little odd? We spend so much time trying to bring the community together, particularly the indigenous community, but we put on a game that seperates them from everyone else, dress them in black and dress the opposition in white.

It allows us to Ack their heritage and allow youngsters from that background to aspire…

Ellis Is our man. (great player plus it adds International flavour to and some additional hype)

Though there's some stiff competitionn for the Edge Forward role in Nathan Hindmarsh, Dave Taylor, Luke O’Donnell, Anthony Watmough.

also, I think Robbie is out of the running with Cameron Smith a specialist Hooker
