They’ve certainly had no luck tonight. Losing your 7 in the first minute of play set the tone, then a couple of dropped balls and near misses over the line and goneski.

I feel sorry for them a bit.
For patches every year they look like contenders but just can’t get past the yips in the finals.

Crumbled like the tigers did when we lost douhei against the sharks earlier this year.

Roosters were great but still a bit sloppy with discipline and wayward passing.
They can lift and play even better than this. Think they’ll do the Dolphins next week.

Yeah they just can’t seem to shake that finals curse. They’ve had such a stable team for a few years now, I fear their premiership window is closing fast. They’ll be losing a few after this season.

I absolutely hate the Roosters, but I really like DCE and wouldn’t begrudge seeing him going out a winner. It would be a fitting end to a great NRL career. Just a shame it’s not with a different team lol.

This roosters team isn’t as hate drawing as other recent ones such as the Cronk and Dunny Bill era.
There’s a lot of really good players there who have been coming through for a couple of years now. They have earned this title tilt rather than bought it.

Foketi, marky mark, toia.. they have all come on well under their system. I wonder what sort of player terrell would be if still in that system

I’d add Savala, Collins, Smith, Wong and Whyte. They’ve built a tough young side to add to the stalwarts like Teddy, Rads, Crichton and Toops.
Terrell would have thrived there.
