If he was money hungry he wouldn't have returned to the NRL he was earning much more with NZLRU - he came back because he honoured a handshake with Nick Politis made ages ago, that is respectable to say the least.

I love how you believe just because they are doing so well that they are cheating - got any proof to back up you're case ? By you're logic for all we know Wests Tigers could be cheating the cap too.
 
Guess some still can't grasp the concept of 3rd party deals. Uncle Nick is a millionaire, he wouldn't have any trouble in that department.

Point is he didn't have to come back to the NRL he was doing very well as it was in Union - he did it to honour a handshake agreement; having said that he would still earn more for NZLRU than hes earning atm.

On the GF match up, I can't wait! I reckon it will be a cracker of a game between the best 2 teams this season, who I can't split. I really have no idea which team will win and this just makes it all the more interesting.
 
I'll be going for the Sea-Eagles i really wanted the Knights to get to the GF but as soon as Danny Buderus got knocked out and that Forward pass that led to a try was a massive turning point and Newcastle just fell apart also i need to give a wrap Jarrod Mullen, He tried his heart out yesterday especially in the last 15 minutes where he set up Lulia for 2 tries and kicked a 40/20 (I think).
 
I am so one eyed I hope the game is a cracker (don't care who wins) and then ASADA nab players from both teams on Monday and the title is stripped from whichever team wins.

im going for the roosters. as good a team as i think manly is, i just cant stand the stewart brothers. also, i think toovey is a knob.

I'm not a fan of the SBW love-fest, but at least it's better than the Souffs/Burgess circle jerk. I'm so happy they're not there.

I have a soft spot for Manly though. I'll be going for them.

Will be a great Grand Final if week one's game is anything to go by.

Love 'em or hate 'em Manly deserve to be the most respected team in the NRL due to their outstanding record over the last 20 years or so. It would be the envy of every team in the comp.

They also play the most entertaining style of footy in the NRL, their games are always full of excitement, physicality and drama. Most importantly, they don't just rely on hit it up for 5 and put a speculative bomb up every single set of 6 (like Souths do and it was great to see that sort of rubbish footy fold under pressure in the semi's). They play rugby league exactly like it was intended to be played.

And I just don't think I could stand seeing Mitchell Pearce carrying on if the Roosters won (how does a bloke with such a humble, respected Dad turn out to be such an arrogant tosser?).

Send SBW worming back to Union a loser.

Hope it is a cracker of a game but sadly GO MANLY!
 
Meh!! Its the Silvertails Vs the Privileged Silvertails - who cares as long as they bash the bejesus out of each other.
 
Really don't care tbh. Just happy Souths are gone. Will get behind whoever i put money on. Just gonna enjoy the game, shaping as the best GF in a while imo

You have been taken hook, line and sinker by the rubbish coming out of Manly this week.

Roosters have made 6 grand finals since 2000, winning one and terribly close in two. They win this weekend and I would argue they have been the most successful team the past decade along with Melbourne.

Go the Rorters.
