Nrl grand final

What a sensational day at the footy! I love my grand finals…..

I sat in a pocket of Storm fans who all joined me in cheering on Balmain and the NYC cubs and backed me up when the sea of dogs fans surrounding us gave me crap all day about the Tiges. It was a great feeling to then back up my new "freinds" and cheer home the Storm. I have always appreciated the way Melbourne play football and was genuinely happy to see them raise the trophy.

For a club who are nothing short of "scum, cheats and an embarrassment to the league" as only the most ardent morons on here would attest, they are a very very professional and complete football side. Well done to them.

Glad you enjoyed your day diddums, yep Melbourne played awesome and were deserved winners on the day that is without doubt.

But hey….they are still and always will be scummy cheats (that is a stain that even Nanna can't wash off their history).

Go the Tiges in :supporter: 2013

Robbie Farah will always have it over ennis it a no match and ennis will never win a grand final.

Ennis ineffectiveness was never more apparent. Poor from dummy half and rarely making a first up tackle, he saves his best work for mouthing nonsense. Smith was a colossus yesterday and while Farah may have a greater skill set, Smith is an extraordinary leader, calm, thoughtful and leads from the front. May well surpass Benny as the best of all time

Ennis' best work last night was the runners up ©'s speech, he waffled on & on & on.......

I lost count of the number of times he was missing at dummy half

hahahahahahahaha

Week after week we same to get the same awful refereeing decisions, the terrible penalty count. After spending good money to go and see a poorly refereed game I decided to re-watch the game and make a list of contentious points that could have helped us win the match or at least given us a fairer go.

11:21 Dominant tackle by Tolman not rewarded. Penalised. Tony Archer refuses to listen to captain Ennis.
12:28 Reasonable 3 second (remember the amount of seconds for later on) dominant tackle by Inu labelled as "too slow". Another dubious penalty to Melbourne.
14:55 Pritchard's arm bounces off Cameron Smith's arm, ball and accidentally touches Smith's face. Yet another penalty to Melbourne. Smith misses penalty goal.
18:27 Bromwich strangles Eastwood in a tackle. No penalty
19:53 Prochter takes Graham with a swinging arm to the head. No penalty
23:40 Canterbury get a penalty. Storm inside the 10\. After all, Melbourne had been playing perfect until then!
24:57 Slater deliberately knees Perrett as Perrett scores a try. No penalty.
28:14 Lowrie strips the ball from Morris which then goes over the sideline, it is ruled a knock on from Canterbury.
30:15 Widdop interferes in tackle, Perrett attempts to push him off and gets penalised. Melbourne should have been penalised for interfering in the ruck.
31:23 This leads directly to a try by Slater. Canterbury should have had the ball at this point.
45:02 6 second tackle from Slater on Morris unpenalised on 4th tackle.
50:15 6 second tackle from O'Neill on Inu unpenalised on 2nd tackle.
50:39 Hoffman knocks the ball out of Stagg's hand. Ruled knock on. Melbourne scrum.
51:40 O'Neill deliberately holds on Kasiano's leg as Kasiano is attempting to get off the tackled O'Neill. Penalty to Melbourne! Smith misses the penalty goal, a moral victory of sorts.
58:04 High tackle on Perrett by Widdop unpenalised on 1st tackle.
60:57 Pritchard taken out without the ball by Cronk on 3rd tackle. No penalty.
71:10 Offside defender Hoffman impedes Reynolds' run on 2nd tackle. No penalty.
71:49 5 second tackle from Widdop on Reynolds unpenalised on 5th tackle.

love these dumbwit one eyed piece of scum bulldog fans. actually i hate them

**Outrage at Bulldogs' abuse**
NRL officials are still awaiting an official response from the runners-up of Sunday's grand final, after some ugly behaviour from unnamed players or officials.

When some female TV reporters went to Belmore Sports Ground to report on the Canterbury Bulldogs' Mad Monday celebrations, they were subjected to some anonymous abuse. Insults hurled through a barely opened window included: "S..k me off you dumb dog", "I wanna go and punch you in the face" and "There are some ladies here to stick their heads in your pants". The comments were aired on Channel 9 last night.

Several players also urinated on the ground in full view of the assembled media.

Bulldogs chief executive Todd Greenberg spoke with the journalist today and apologised on behalf of the club. "That's not how we do business. Will follow up internally!!" he tweeted.

"It's a serious issue and will be treated seriously," the boss of the ARL Commission, John Grant, said this morning.

So glad these low lifes lost.

Whilst I don't condone what the Dogs players said, the journos want it both ways on Mad Monday. They show up looking for a scandal to report, and when they don't get it they pretend that they were only there to get photos of the players in costumes. But well done to them, they gave the players the rope and the players hung themselves.
