I don't really enjoy the Nines, I watched the first half of our game and since then I've had more fun watching the grass grow, listening to the fridge hum and giving my old fella a papercut and pouring lemon juice on it.
I'm not as worried by the fact we lost as the fact we had no spark, hunger or desire.
That's more a cultural problem than a talent problem. I mean we have kids out there playing for their position and there was just no energy at all.
That is a coaching problem and doesn't bode well for the mental state oft the team. They knew they were beat before the whistle blew

Don't blame any club for not taking this tournament seriously, but wow when you represent your club and its fans you at least need to show a smidgen of pride in your performance.

Wasn't expecting much from this tournament just enjoying watching footy again. Wouldn't be disappointed if we came last with no wins as long as they are having a go that's fine. When there are only a handful that are having a dig that's when it's disappointing… Naiqama, Simona, sue and Ava that was about it

Sue, Drinkwater and Cherrington were terrible. We have the Panthers the game with silly mistakes by the more experienced players
Let's hope the guys wake up for the next game.

I think it's ridiculous for people to say "don't judge us it's only 9s"
Its a competition.. They're performing, every other team is playing as well and this is what we do as supporters.
Why should WTs fans be limited in what we can support, cheers or judge our team?

Griffin went well. He looked like he could be a good option next year. Seems to have a great off-load. Simona is a weapon. Naiqama looks dangerous.
Drinkwater was terrible. Addo-Carr was real bad. I'm not writing off Addo-Carr just yet though.
Lets see how we go in the next game.

Yeah ok it's only the nines and who cares but still, that was just a lousy effort. And it's how it happened that was concerning - non-existent completion rates, awful defence, no organisation, no heart. We looked like a bush team given a wikdcard. I'd hate to think fans waste their money going over to see that. It's not the loss or the score that was hard to take but just give a yelp please! Apart from Tim Simona making something out of error 5,000 we'd have ended with a zero and not come close to scoring.
Let's hope game 2 is better cause that was woeful.

This is the whole deal our club is playing and I want to see some quality footy from the team, it is a no big deal competition but the fact that other clubs are having a go and showing effort just reflects on where the Tigers head space is …but that is no surprise when your highest paid player is enjoying himself on the other side of the world and all the top line players of all other clubs are at this tournament regardless of playing or not !

I'm no fan of 9s much either…. But I'm a WTs and rl fan and I'll watch it today
We looked out of our depth... And basic fundamentals like us as flat in attack as you'd be in a defensive line when we were not making any metres anyway... It's just baffling and embarrassing and not at all entertaining like some teams are playing
