We just had a kid go down at my local club with a liver injury. We thought it was a rib but ended up being a severe liver laceration, had never seen that before

Justin O’Neil has an injury like that, ruptured spleen if I recall correctly.

I’m not confident...my negativity is well ingrained..
I still get flashbacks of walking past the sharks fans on the hill at Leichhardt from last year

I remember in 2016 I was flying out to Brazil for a holiday and was absolutely filthy because I’d be in the air when we were playing Canberra to try and make the 8. Even thought about changing my flight.

First thing I did when I landed was check the score to see we’d been rogered 52-10. I remember thinking what an idiot I was for thinking they actually had a chance ?

My mate had liver lacerations but he came off a dirt bike

Guy had internal bleeding and all.... no idea how that happened from playing footy. Such a painful horrible injury - getting punched in the liver can put down a heavyweight let alone a laceration
