Can anyone say with a straight face that Cleary jr is in any better form than Brooks this year? And i’m sure most would agree the Panthers pack is superior to ours.

@GNR4LIFE - he has a much better kicking game but he doesn't threaten much with the ball in hand. He is good but he isn't any better than Brooks.

Just a question for the Mods, is there a couple of pages missing from this thread or have I gone bonkers overnight? I know I posted a few times in here last night, didn't swear once I'm sure, but can't find any of my posts now. One of the posts was just a reply to Inks post about a double movement that really wasn't. Anyway I'm just a bit confused.

I see Katoa has been charged for using the knees on the Gagai try last night, though he wasn't penalised during the match.
Hope judiciary are consistent and give him the same 3 weeks that Bryce Gibbs got. Pet peeve of mine that inconsistency around use of knees.

@Furious1 No, I think the salary cap works just fine and does what it is supposed to do. With any artificial levelling system however, some teams are still better or luckier than others at making it work.
You look at Penrith, that appears a good roster and they moved hard on a strong rookie halfback and his experienced coach dad - and right now it's coming up turds for them. Not the salary cap's fault and nobody could fairly say it's bad roster or cap management.
Roosters just have other ways of working with and around the cap. What I really want to understand is what those "other ways" are.

I also noticed the number of new topics and posters are well down from what used to be active on the old forum is it my imagination or has anyone else also noticed this
