I wonder if gavet will be used in the back row this year, as he is very mobile for a big fella?

For round 1 I'd swap:

Fulton for Thompson
Simona for Lulia
Galloway for Buchanen
Brown for BMM

now that's an awesome team.

Can assume that other than any injured players he would like to come into the team, or one puts in a shocker this weekend, this will most probably be Potter's first round line-up.

Compared to the characters on here he is the head of Mensa.

I dare say this will be close to the side for round 1 , not a bad side all things considering .
Who are we missing ? Fulton , Galloway , Sirro , Simona , Halatau , Korrobite , Ava Seumanufagai , Sue , Moltzen , a fair bit of talent left behind.
If fit I can see Galloway, Fulton, Simona, Sue, and Ava all coming in for Round 1
Galloway for Buchanan
Fulton for Austin
Simona for Lulia
Sue for Thompson
Ava for BMM
We got heaps of backrowers, I can't see Austin having much of a role to play vs the Dragons we need the extra front row against them.

If Thompson is a starting back rower in round 1 we have big issues.

I agree. Considering there are so many good backrowers going around these days, it's embarrassing that Thompson gets a start in our team

This will have to be Thompson last chance to prove if he will be in NRL side. He was just terrible in the 9's in defence!!

Thompson played a very good game (against Manly) in one of the early rounds last year.

And I'm sure some legends of the club like Nick Graham , Steve Trindall , Troy Wozniak also had one good game

Doesn't mean they automatically continue to get game time for the 15 bad games they have a season

Thompson gets one shot and that's it

Fulton and Sirro are streets ahead of him

I have to agree with people's sentiment's in regards with Thompson.

Potter has massive wraps on him…

I'm not quick to judge he played most of last year injured and came back from 3 years on injury... So I hope he shines... Maybe the coach sees something we haven't yet?
