Frizzell is 18th man for game one, a second rower goes down and Wade Graham comes into the side.
And after Daley said he'd stick strong.

Oh and Dylan Walker, sigh.

Frustrating but hardly surprising. You'd have to think it will be 2 zip by the time they come back for game 3

I actually thought Daley was a good choice as coach. How wrong can someone be?
What an uninspiring team.

Graham coming in is nice, but why pick Walker again. Do Daley and Bozo walk away from game 1 thinking it was a good idea? It was clear there was no plan for how to use him, they've just picked him for the sake of picking and sticking.

Should I save time and pick an avatar now Happy?
Thought we needed to pick Tedesco and Cartwright to be a chance.

I agree, I like bringing in Wade Graham but I would look to get a few more of the younger back rowers in there, Frizell and Cartwright are two I would look at, possible Jack Bird too off the bench as a back rower, although he may not be there yet, especially out of position. Win or lose this should be Gallen, Farah and Bird's last series. All three have a tendency to get in the way when we are on the attack, rather than let the halves run the show and the backs score the points.

I can understand not wanting to make too many changes, and it has worked for QLD in the past, but to leave Tedesco out is ludicrous.

NSW don't have enough points in them to win in QLD to be able to maintain the same team as Origin 1.

Graham should have been the utility.
He can play in the halves and the backrow. Dylan Walker can play the halves (albeit not very well) or centre. So the only way he gets more than the 9mins he did last time is if an 80 minute player gets injured. Graham can cover for an injury to the halves whilst also doing a job in the forwards. As it is, Walker is just wasting a spot. Seems like common sense to me.

What in the world made you think that???
I mean the guy was heavily involved in QLD's decade of dominance and has been an aweful coach in previous series. Even the one they fluked was uninspiring and dull play. He is a dud.

No wonder we keep losing
Walker in again ? wonder what sort of howler he will have this time
Merritt didnt get a 2nd chance after his debut failure
Plus i didnt see Walker do anything for Manly on Monday

All the best to the blues, appalling really, the selections
Moylan over Teddy ? ah well who cares Another series to the Maroons
