NSW Origin Team

Did James Roberts really say "more speed than Oxford Street"? That's pretty funny if he did.
This NSW team has a very different personality. With the vegan yoga teacher as coach. If NSW wins the first game I'm going Vegan until game two.
*note I don't really know all the ins and outs of going vegan. You can still drink beer, right?

You have to come to Byron and detox first - that's compulsory. Pay a fortune for organic food etc but then try to rip everyone off to afford said detox and vegan program.

Ivan would be one proud dad tonite

I was just thinking about the difference for Ivan Cleary in the past 2-3 years, going from being sacked by Penrith in 2015 and his son still running around in the juniors, to now having a fairly successful new head coach gig and his kid being picked for State of Origin.

It must have been weird for him to leave Nathan behind in a club that back-stabbed him as a coach. Obviously Nathan was doing well in the Penrith system and had a trajectory for first grade, but I am sure in 2015 Ivan would have been hoping it would be he himself who debuted his son, not Hook who did it a year later.

It really makes you wonder what sort of allegiance the Clearys have with Penrith, i.e. what is said/felt about the clubs behind closed doors. Ivan never played for Penrith and Nathan originally played junior footy in Auckland whilst his Dad was the coach there. Nathan didn't leave the club when his Dad was sacked, also removed the father-son clause from his contract, so obviously he's respectful to the Panthers.

Most over hyped game on the Calendar. By the time kick off arrives we have been smashed with so much promo stuff that your over before it starts.

If they could just back off with all the crap, the game would be better for it.
