On a scale of 1 to 5 here's my "likely to play first grade ratings" based on what I've seen today.

Sione Alofi - 1/5
Obed Kharwin - 4/5
Ryland Jacobs - 4/5
Marion Seve - 4/5
Jayden Wheelhouse - 1/5
Te Maire Martin - 5/5
JMK - 2/5
Junior Tatola - 4/5
Jacob Liddle - 4/5
JJ Felise - 5/5
Matt Woods - 3/5
Esan Marsters - 3/5
Tyler Cassell - 3/5

Veiru Mapesone - 1/5
Ray Stone - 2/5
Salesi Funaki - 2/5
Thomas Grealy - 1/5

I wonder why they left Martin out there injured for so long. They have Mapesone in the 14 they should have subbed him immediately.

JMK has looked good so far this half. Maybe he is at least some chop.

I agree he has looked much better in the second.

Masters has surprised me too. Good ball runner with some great touches but can fall off the first tackle in defense.

Obeid looks class.

That was an impressive win. 54-12 with Jacobs scoring on the siren after Liddle made a half break and linked up with him.

Some guys who look like definite first graders here in particular JJ Felise and Te Maire Martin. Junior Tatola, Obed Kharwin, Ryland Jacobs, Jeremy Marshall-King, Jacob Liddle, Esan Marsters, Tyler Cassell, hell they all deserve a wrap that was a good performance.

I think Seve played on the wing outside Ryland Jacobs in that game which is bizarre to say the least. He was very quiet.

Karwhin has a cool name, cool swagger, he's big, can steamroll guys, hits hard in defence, seems to have smarts about him … I fully believe that kid is going to be a superstar of the game imo and as a winger wow he is a god send for the Tigers. He needs to be in the NRL squad for 2016 imo. He's plenty big enough. Colour aside he is a dead set clone of Wendell Sailor.

Falise and Tatola were the best, with Graham, Grant and Lodge we shall have excellent depth in props.
Marshall-King running game was first class, Little play the ball was fast and with strength of our props enabled easy 10 - 15 m in each run.
Martin passing game was 1st class, had 6 or 7 try assists.
Jacobs was the best back, looks like another Nofoaluma.
Kharwin and Seve were lazy, their attitude is not the best.

Karwhin was lazy? Didn't come through on the screen? The Tigers carved them up through the middle so neither winger needed to get involved much.

Karwhin was quite impressive. Scored a couple of tries, made some great reads and hits in defense and helped his forwards out of his goal line.
In consecutive plays he made a try saving tackle, pressured the kicker and then got back behind the play the ball to take the hit up after the fullback cleaned the kick up. That's great energy and attention to detail. I'm certain he'll play first grade with more performances like that.

re. Kharwin, he sounds like a strong lad & doesn't shy away from work. Is he quick?

Sure is. Great size and good in the air. Still a bit raw but all the signs are very good.

How could anyone call Kharwin or seve lazy ffs. Both saved 2-3 tries single handedly. Seve never gets the ball for some reason. Kharwin was outstanding. He's developing really well. Great talker on the field, great in the air, strong reads in defence and best finisher at the club.
With a big off season he could find himself starting come round 1 next season

Seve got in open space at one stage and he hotstepped straight past his counterpart. He's much quicker than I thought he was. He actually plays a lot like Tim Simona.

Just watching the replay of the game now, and I like the looks of some of our kids coming through, especially in weak areas of our NSW Cup side. Karwhin, Seve and Heleta have all been talked about as NRL level, and other forumers have high opinions of Satterthwaite and Jacobs (who looked strong today). Felise and Tatola both looked strong too, and would make a solid pairing with the likes of Grant and Buchanan (Graham needs to be in our top 17 next season).

I'm not expecting us too keep them all on long term deals, but hopefully they can see the pathway and put some pressure on our top squad, especially with the abundance of second rowers we have floating around.

Good to see Karwhin keep improving, i really like this guy. He can play a big part in our future.

Naiquama has him for experience at this stage but Naiquama has a ceiling on his talent, he will only ever be of of his current level. Karwhin will replace him before long.
