Off Contract Players Tigers Could Chase?

If our priority is to muscle-up, then Fensom is money well spent. Wes Naiquama would also be a good short-term buy.

However, the way I see it, you don't try to shed a quality player like Heighington unless 1) you're massively over the cap or 2) chasing an even bigger name

True enough. If the goal was to get the team bigger and stronger, I don't see why we would consider letting go of Heighington. Which, again, makes you suspect that we're really just well over the cap and needing to get under however we can, and our only buy will be Blair.

I'll be happy to be proven wrong, though.

Shaun Johnson For Halfback - Hes the next Stacey Jones - Goal Kicker Aswell
Josh Hoffman - Runs the ball back hard

It depends on who we end up getting rid of and how much money we have up our sleeve.

But i make a play at orford…much needed experience and his price would have come down a bit.halfback

William zillman.....fullback

Richie Fa'aoso,Trent Merrin, props

We probably couldnt afford them all but these are the positions we need to fill.

I was thinking Zillman too- injury bug has held him back, but a quality player on the field.

Honestly- Blair, Zillman & one other forward- be it George Rose, Shakleton, or the like- is all this squad needs.

The youngsters coming up shouldn't be held back much further if we are, indeed, going through a clean-out.

Guys like Woods, Groat, Murdoch-Masilla, Simona & Miller need gametime. They are, potentially, better than most of the free agent players. Play them & let them grow.

Orford's price would have come down because he's terrible these days. He can't even force Sam Williams out of the side. He'd be a terrible pick-up for us - Jason Cayless written all over him. Why buy him when he have Jacob Miller?

Would like to see a quality outside back sign for next year (hopefully a goal kicking one). How would you guys feel about Dane Gagai (not a noted kicker I don't think), John Williams or Bryson Goodwin?.. all off contract at the end of the year as far as I can tell

I'm prepared to take on a talented outside back without the kicking skills if Benji maintains a reasonable kicking percentage this year. His boot has really come through in the games where required and if he can kick constantly under duress I'm more than happy to leave him as the goalkicker.

X2 Bogan Benji has been kicking pretty well but lets hope he gets a bit of practice against the Eels and knocks a few over . Lets actually hope we get a few tries firstly I guess
