We're actually already catching his kicking virus already , and he hasn't even arrived yet, :roll ,

Oath  What makes Reynold's tripping any different from Brooks? I'd much rather have a pack of mongrels than a bunch of softies.
@ said:charged and will appear in the district court. his contract will be under scrutiny if found guilty. but innocent until proven guilty. Supposedly refused to leave a license premise and abused a staff member

Things are really shaping up beautifully for next season.
@ said:Completely unrelated to this so called incident, but looking back now on the signing of reynolds, does anyone else feel like decision to sign him was all a bit rushed? If was at a time when the club was taking a beating in the media, and no doubt the front office desperately wanted some positive news to release. So we rush out and put out an offer that Reynolds can't refuse. I can't help but think if we were a little more patient we could've netted someone like TMM for half the coin. TMM is just an example, there could've been others.
Perhaps I just need someone to hold me and tell me that 2018 & beyond will be ok…

The signing was applauded by Gould, Fittler, Johns, Sterling and others. I believe the Dogs style of play is dominated by forwards that hog good ball and a hooker halfback that cannot pass the ball. Better player than he has shown under this Hasslerball team that is possibly the most underperforming team of quality players I can remember.
He's not the next coming of Wally Lewis but In terms of 5/8 he'd be under Maloney, Morgan, Munster, Milford, Widdop,Norman Green. He's a top 8ish 5/8 could be much worse.

He will not go to court ! It's a failure to leave a licensed premise. Which is a $550 fine & nothing more. He didn't assault anyone, didn't threaten anyone. He'll pay the fine & that's the end of it from a legal matter. You don't go to court for this kind of incident

By that logic, he's definitely not top 8, given he's also worse than Moylan, Foran and Cody Walker.
Maybe he's on par with Austin?? Keary perhaps at a stretch??
But even then he'd need a decent half.
A running 5/8 you don't want to have to rely on to win the game for you.
At best in 2018 we'll be on par with the Raiders halves and they can largely account for the Raiders inability to win finals footy - or even make the finals in all likelihood this year.
But hey I hope I'm wrong but I believe this was a very poor purchase as was Lolohea (unless the latter is backup or utility).

Well you do end up in court if you want to defend it, but otherwise that's right. It's an offence under s 77(6) of the Liquor Act and it's a penalty notice offence. Typically they serve the penalty notice and if the fine is paid then that's the end of the matter. If he wanted to defend it then there would be a hearing in the Local Court, not the District Court.
