Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

How the standards of the Wests Tigers have slipped.

Not only by thinking of signing this grub but to offer him 750,000 - can't believe it.

A leopard never changes it's spots - what about the attempted trip on Brooks in the Kev try movement. Should have been sent off.

Besides Leopards and Tigers don't get on.

Completely agree with you on this one Russell he is certainly not a player we need

Sorry wrong Johnson.
Still toooo early in the morning.

To me there looks more going on here than just signing Reynolds, Dogs are trying to sort out their team to get woods in and now they might have to find some more money if they dogs want to keep him.

I think people tend to forget, he's playing without a proper half in the team. He's basically running the show their at the Dogs, when really he's a running 5/8\. Put him in a bit of structure and I think it works well. Got a great running game, passion and gives 110% week in week out.

Yeah he's considered a grub, does stupid things, but this year so far he's been controversy free. I wouldn't mind his signing because he would rally the boys up during games and he's great at the 1% plays like the kick chase and line speed.

The question that I ask is, why would we offer him a contract, if theirs the possibility of TMM coming back. One of these scenarios is utter crap.

Not necessarily. We probably have our fingers in a lot of pies ATM.

Well I haven't been keeping a log of controversial things he does but he did try one of his trademark trips last weekend. Bit of a worry that he's still doing that at age 28 having been pinged for it numerous times. He's not likely to change…

Perhaps because you don't just throw all your eggs in 1 basket. ANy smart club looking for a five eight would be talking to mayby 5 or 6 different options and prob a few offers out but but once one says yes then you take that and move one from the others.

People seem to think recuritment is a one by one process like if the club re-sgns chee-kam they wern't doing any work on anyone else for weeks before hand.

I understand that fact.. hypothetically, TMM wants to come over and Josh R signs the dotted line, who do we take?

How can you offer him more than brooks does my head in.

Probably because he's been the starting half of a team that's made a GF and played finals 4 years in a row. Oh and has played origin part of the only successful team in the last decade. Just my guess….. what's brooks done?

Reynolds isn't an issue for their cap. He's off contract

I didn't notice it during the game, but heard about it later.
That's why he's a liability. Stuff like that is automatic to him . He's got zero discipline.

It's only a fine now anyways. Only gonna hurt his pocket not the team by missing games.

Couldnt imagine thats the case…but would be hilarious if it was....we will know if we hear wests tigers have offered the Morris twins 1.3m for 5 years and Graham 1.2m

I would sign Reynolds as we need passion back in our side. You can teach skills but you can not teach/coach passion.

Reynolds, McQueen and Noffo have passion and pride in their work and the teams they play for.

Yes Reynolds has brain explosions and does grubby things but the benefits out weight the negatives.

Yes I would sign him plus ask him to bring the goal kicking winger and prop Graham.

Let's not worry about the penalty or the chance of a binning. He's a fool
