Hopefully Mbye mid season isn't dependent on us taking Woods back as well.

Or still negotiating over when he joins us. A win today may tip the scale for a mid-season arrival.
The Bulldogs furom is still clinging to hope that he isn't going anywhere.

Yeah, I remember having those delusions about Woods & Teddy last year.

It has all come as news to his agent, Simon Mammino. “I certainly haven’t picked up my phone and spoken to anyone about Moses outside of Canterbury”.
This is what they are hinging there hope on.

Yeah because agents don't fox the media when they're in negotiations.
@ said:@ said:Woods reminds me of Michael Bevan ie. my stats are more important than the team.
Yes Aaron your stats are impressive, but your teams don’t generally win. And you are a major contributor.
This is a guy who wouldn’t commit and contributed to off field drama and uncertainty and then finally signed elsewhere.
No. Taking him back is a step back for us.
Don’t look to the past IC.
Obviously didn't watch a lot of ODI's in the mid to late 90's Donny?

Doubt it. Bulldogs are not in a position of power. If IC and Egan don't want him he will not be coming.

The Bulldogs forum is still trying to convince itself that they aren't really in cap trouble and it's all just a media beat up.
It's so familiar - all the same old lines:
- The media has got it in for us.
- The good players love the club, they won't be going anywhere.
- I never thought (departing player) was any good anyway.
- Get rid of the lot of them and sign (someone who isn't available), (someone unaffordable), (someone who hasn't been good since 2010) and (a junior who has never played first grade but my mate once saw in under 16s and reckons is a gun).
- What this club lacks is (astonishingly generic qualities - usually "a bit of mongrel in the pack and some pace outside").
- It's the coach's fault.
- No, actually, it's the *previous* coach's fault.
- It's the refs' fault.

Indeed!!
Bevs was a hero…..I reckon Woodsy would take that as a compliment.
@ said:Have seen Woods dacked a few times this year and wearing his 2040 undies.
He wants to come home
@ said:I never want to see Woods in our colours ever again. The events of last year have left a bitter taste and it's most ironic how things have played out since his defection.
