Official NSW Team for Game I

lol bob fulton makes these boneheaded deicsions, yet has the nerve to call potter's decision of benji benching as "Stupid". bloody moron

Carney has the right to feel most aggrieved IMO. I've been watching all the sharks games and his club form has been even better than last year when he was selected and played quite well for the most part.

NSW has the Forward pack to take it to qld but on paper the NSW halves are a class or 2 below thurston ad Cronk. I hope they prove me wrong. I haven't gone into a series feeling confident in a long time but I've got a good feeling about the blues this year.

What does j.reynolds provide that carney or Adam Reynolds can't?

The Blues already have one over-rated Origin imposter in the halves, they don't need another one.

Just hand the trophy over now, save the effort…

Speaking as a guest on Fox Sports show Sterlo, Daley said Reynolds would be primarily used to cover injury in the halves and at hooker and would not guarantee the Canterbury-Bankstown star game time if everything went to plan.
Asked where he would slot Reynolds if Mitchell Pearce, James Maloney and Robbie Farah got through the game unscathed, Daley said he was "unsure".
"**Where I'd play Josh is going to be the unknown**," Daley said.

Far out, what a wasted spot….............yeah lets avoid potential injuries and just hand it over I agree.

I can see us just getting run over and belted unfortunately. An underdone Gallen in a position he stated he didn't want to play in and a back doing some bench warming.

Since Reynolds will most probably spend his time on the field in the forwards (either at hooker if Farah comes off or at lock used in tandem out of dummy half with Farah) I don't think Carney should feel aggrieved, his defence is not up to playing in the middle at origin level. The only way Reynolds plays in the halves is if Maloney is a massive flop or there is an injury.

I'm really expecting to Maloney to have a dig.
He's a pretty gutsy player.

No doubt he will outshine Pearce.

My 3,2,1 predictions for each team are

3\. Maloney
2\. Fifita
1\. Hayne

and

3\. Thurston
2\. Slater
1\. Inglis
..Standard really.
